The Hiroshima tour was incredibly informative and emotional, offering deep insight into the city’s history and resilience. Our guide was knowledgeable and kind, making the experience memorable. I highly recommend spending more time at key landmarks so the tour feels less rushed and even more impactful.

Nobuyuki was so helpful and informative throughout the whole day. It was wonderful to hear real family stories and experiences and felt like we were becoming part of his life story. Would throughly recommend the tour

We had Nobuyuki as our tour guide for the day. He was amazing - so knowledgeable and friendly - I definitely felt in good hands. All day he took us around and told us stories and all the history of Hiroshima - I left feeling that I had left a little piece of me in Hiroshima.

We went on the tour to Miyajima and Hiroshima with Hiroshi, who was a wonderful guide. Not only was he knowledgable and well-informed, but his insight as a local on Miyajima Island made the tour extra special. His personal connection to the history of Hiroshima allowed for nuanced and important views into the experience of those affected by the local history. His insights into Shinto customs were greatly appreciated. He was extremely gracious and hospitable, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on our Hiroshima and Miyajima full-day tour with our guide, Minori. She was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing deep insights into the history and culture of Hiroshima with warmth and clarity. Beyond that, she was friendly, approachable, and a joy to be around, it truly felt like spending the day with a local friend who loves showing you her city. Minori also knew all the best spots for great views and photos, and she made sure we didn’t miss any hidden gems along the way. She patiently answered all of our questions and made the entire day smooth and memorable. We can’t recommend this tour, and Minori, highly enough. If you’re visiting Hiroshima and Miyajima, ask for Minori! You’ll be in excellent hands.

We were a family of 4 that went on a day tour to Hiroshima and Miyajima Island. Our tour guide was Mari. We were so lucky to have someone with strong communication skills, great knowledge of the history and area and a good all round friendly and helpful person. Nothing was a problem. She went to all the places we wanted to go and she made our day so memorable with experiences we will never forget. I would have no hesitation recommending Mari to anyone thinking of doing this tour. She was organised, punctual, enthusiastic and our day was just perfect. Thank you Mari

We went by train and ferry to see the shrines and the beautiful red Torii gate on the island of Miyajima. It was a wonderful trip and so much was added to the experience by the knowledge and information provided by our guide, Sachi. Next we went to the Peace Memorial and Museum. It is something everyone should experience just once. The Japanese have created a respectful and informative forum to share what happened on that dreadful day, and to encourage a peaceful future. It was crowded and I would not recommend going in the school tours season if possible. However, it was well managed and the children were all well behaved and respectful. It was good to see young people engaged in the experience.

We had an unforgettable experience on our private tour of Hiroshima and Miyajima! Hiroshi, our guide, was not only professional and well-organized but also incredibly warm and passionate about sharing the region’s history and culture. We highly recommend booking a private tour with Hiroshi — it’s the best way to experience these incredible places in meaningful and personal way!

Nob did a great job giving us the history leading up to the destruction of Hiroshima. He added a personal touch with his family and what they had experienced after the bomb was dropped. We were able to understand his English and he made sure we were all together when he spoke. This was one of a few tour guides that took us to a restaurant where we were able to sit down and have a moment to eat an authentic Japanese dish. Unfortunately the museum we visited was extremely busy and we didn't have enough time to spend there before we had to return to our cruise ship.
