Unforgettable Barranco: Bohemian Art & Coastal Bike Tour

Had an amazing experience !! would highly recommend . I suggest that you should do this bike tour on your first or second day of being in Lima Peru you got to see so much.

Diego was such a wonderful tour guide and we saw so much of Miraflores and Barranco. We didn't just see sights, but Diego took the time to explain the history and people of the things we visited. While I was solo I met one other person the tour, so it felt like such a personalized experience. Highly recommend for a great few hours in the city.

The guides take the time to find you a bike that fits and are very knowledgeable about the best routes to take. You ride along the coastal trail, into Barranco which is fantastic, and through Lima too to see some very cool sights. Lima has a excellent bike paths, which we were surprised by. We felt safe and comfortable following our guide from point to point. Our group consisted of older adults, young adults and a teen and we all loved it. We did this the day after we arrived in Lima and really appreciated this view of Miraflores and seeing things that we would never have known were there. Excellent way to begin our stay.

We had a fantastic time on our bike tour. It was the perfect way to get our bearings and see Lima. The bikes were very nice and the bike paths make it super easy to get around the parts of the city we explored.

Diego, our guide was fantastic. I've done a lot of biking tours and this was one of the best. I appreciate Diego's knowledge, candidness and willingness to discuss difficult topics. The route he took us on was amazing and got some incredible views of Lima that we otherwise would not have though to see. His other recommendations of where to go/eat after the tour were great and lived uo to expectations. Thanks again!

We saw a small group of cyclists with a guide in the Barranco district of Lima and spoke to the guide deciding we would do the bike tour with them the next day which we duly did. It was tricky finding the start of the tour as it is in a market area and the gates were locked so we were directed around rather block. Eventually we found it and provided with good,sturdy bikes opting for helmets and met Diego again. We set off for the pyramid using the cycle lanes which felt very safe. The pyramid looked amazing right in the centre of a built up area. We then rode to the lovers view, via Miraflores then to Barranco district. We opted for an extension to the Christ statue and cross on the hill.It was all very flat and Diego was excellent with his knowledge of the history of the districts, city of Lima and Peru- it was a tour I would heavily recommend.

Excellent bike tour of the Miraflores and Barranco areas of Lima. We visited the pre-Inca pyramid, a beautiful park on the coast (parc de l’amour) and the charming neighborhood of Barranco. Most of the route was on dedicated bike paths or bike lanes, and the route was easy and relatively flat. Our guide (Diego) was very knowledgeable and provided commentary in English and Spanish. Highly recommended.
