Very informative...good guides in English. Should take more restroom stops, and have more vegetarian options.

Aggressive angry driver, felt unsafe. No communication on stops on how long the stop will be and where to meet up after viewing the stops

Hard to understand the guided’s english. He had a thick accent which made it difficult. Had to focus and concentrate. Also there wasn’t planning ahead, one of the expected sites was closed so we got shuffled into another building to look at Christmas things

My excursion to Santo Domingo was truly amazing. The city’s rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning architecture made the experience unforgettable. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire trip even more enjoyable. Everyone on the tour was great and added to the fun and positive energy throughout the day. From exploring the Colonial Zone to learning about the island’s heritage, every moment felt meaningful and exciting. I highly recommend visiting Santo Domingo to anyone looking for a memorable and enriching experience.

All in all not bad. If you want a quick trip to Santo Domingo just to get a tiny flavor of the city and do not mind small inconveniences, this is a good option. We were bored at our all inclusive and wanted to get out and about to know a little of how DR looked like and to see Santo Domingo. The travel company uses shared services to pick up guests from their respective hotels and then transfer them all to a van at a meeting point. We left at 7:30 & were back by 6:30 pm. There was a small stop for bathroom break and a gift shop on the way. The guide was friendly and spoke in English as well as Spanish, giving us a brief overview of the DR and the places we saw. The first was the tres ocho national park, a small place with 3 cenotes, followed by brief stops at the lighthouse, the presidential palace and the beach for photo ops. We are vegetarians and the beans and rice at the restaurant Paila just hit the spot for us. The tour then took us to the colonial zone, where we quietly peeled away from the gift shop where our guide took us to exploring the place on our own. We then rejoined them at the Casa del Cordon and then back to the bus to Pubta Cana. So we spent around an hour at the colonial zone. Don't go with great expectations, but if you want a quick sneak peak and want to see DR with an open mind it is possibly worth it. The van was comfortable though cramped, but we lucked out with good travel companions.

This was a very disappointing experience. Very unorganized and poor communication ruined this tour for us. Driver was late picking us up, yet stopped and chatted with the guard. Waited again at the tour “hub”. Left in van wasn’t told why or where were going. Then shuttled to another van picked up our “tour guide” who couldn’t keep the group together, lost us 2 times due to no communication. We’re only allowed a few minutes at some stops due to waiting for straggles in the group. Got very little explaining of tour stops. Lucky there were Spanish speaking people in the group that provided information than the tour guide.

It's a great way to discover Capital of the City & more. You do need to make sure to have comfortable walking shoes.

It was good. Victor was a really good guide. Took us to places. Only comment is the driver drives very fast. Seems impatient. Overall experience ok.

Our guide David was amazing! He did a great job explaining and giving us a little history about DR. Took us to several shops. We got to see the beautiful church! Amazing! It is far from Punta Cana

It was an amazing experience. We had a very wonderful tour guide- Juan Carlos Ozuna, who took effort in accomodating us English speakers. The only reason why i only gave 4 stars is for the pick up and drop. The day before the tour a driver message that Ill be pick up at the resort gate which is very far from my villa and the resort has a service tranfer going to the gate at 9am and my pick is 745am. Nontheless, i had a great time.👍🏼
