Our six hour tour that include glaciers was canceled and substitute at this four hour tour that stayed in resurrection Bay. We did see orcas coming out of water and otters eating octopus so it was still fun.

We took the cruise at the end of the season, but did see more wildlife than expected. We even saw a group of Orca whales! The crew was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I would love to take this cruise in the summer!

What an amazing experience! Wish we could take this trip twice a week! Amazing Captain and Crew! Captain Chris is so awesome! He knows his business and is extremely personable! Then we had a beautiful day with smooth sailing!

My husband and I had the pleasure of going out for a half day cruise on the Spirit of Matushka on October 9, 2025. Captain Chris was very knowledgeable. He shared some fascinating information about the nature and wildlife we encountered. Corinne D. Ink Goes Wild Alaska

It was very beautiful, well kept boat, nice complementary drinks and staff was super friendly. Unfortunately did not see a lot of large wildlife.

What wildlife you get to see is wholly dependent on the time of year, the weather, etc. so as long as you're expectations are in line will be a pleasant trip

Well organized tour, great crew. The boat was well equipped, immaculate & designed for viewing. Plenty of outside viewing all around the boat. Captain made every effort to show us as much wildlife as possible.

This was mainly resurrection Bay. Saw Orcas, sea lions, otters, mountain goats, eagles…. Views of various glaciers including bear glacier. Everyone had a seat inside and had no problem warming up. It was a great afternoon even though it was raining over half the trip. Don’t let the rain or cold stop you.
