What a fun way to start the day! It was a gloomy/chilly day, but we made the best of it starting off with a big rappel and getting wet! Gerard C. was our guide and he was confident, friendly, and kept the pace moving- I really appreciated his explanations of how to get through the canyon and he was available to help at any point....still giggling at how fast, and comfortably he tied the knots for the rappel (felt too casual in the moment ;P) I assume that the gloomy day lent to having such a small group during our session- and this made it feel more like we all knew each other and that we could play! The price was totally worth the fun and thrill- Set up was easy- Gerard eyed our sizes and knew exactly what gear was needed and fast! After the adventure, we were treated to lunch and drinks, and especially loved the thoughtfully included cheese from the farm we were parked at!

This was my favorite this we did in Switzerland! It was so amazing and thrilling. Definitely not for people afraid of heights. Our guides, Ricardo and Hidde, were so amazing and fun while still making sure we were all safe. The videos are also very worth buying, so fun to relive it!

Rayno and Ollie were fantastic guides. This was our first canyoning experience and the boys made us feel comfortable at every obstacle. The check in process was seamless and getting fitted for all the gear was very easy. Rayno took one look at us and fitted the wetsuits perfectly. The van ride to the canyon was full of great conversations getting to know everyone. We arrived at the pasture to get changed into our gear and then jumped back in the van for the short ride to the entrance to the canyon. We repelled down a gnarly wall with Rayno on the safety ropes and into the refreshing river water. We jumped off of waterfalls, slid down natural waterslides and even zip lined into a pool. Ollie was the work horse on this adventure and he did the job well!!! I would recommend this to anyone who is up for adventure and a new experience!! Prince and Poppy

We really enjoyed the trip and highly recommend it for action adventure seekers. Cliff repelling, jumping off canyon walls and into natural water slides, and much more. Scary but fun. However, for $224 per person, I frankly find it insulting that despite taking plenty of pictures and video of the trip for us, they won’t provide even a single photo of us during the trip (only one photo after the trip on dry land) unless we pay extra. Feels really cheap and taking advantage of its customers. If you don’t care about having any photo memories to take home then go for it.

Once our gear was on we were told “it will loosen up in the water.” I am a 54 year old woman in decent shape, been canyoning in 2 other countries, love an adrenaline building activity, and am 5’ 5” and overweight (size 12-14 in the US). The wet suit handed to me and not tried on until we were on site (their policy) was too long and way too tight. While I was able to get it on, I lost mobility in my arms (they did not rest at my side but rather out at my sides, and legs. This resulted in my inability to move appropriately through the course. The first indication of trouble was after a jump when the extra wetsuit material on my calves and ankles caused my feet to float making it difficult to find my footing. Similarly a loose fitting life jacket was riding high on my neck and face causing difficulty and awkwardness. Next was a repel in which we were specifically told not to hold on so as to avoid our hands coming between the rope and rock, I was unable to hold a sitting position and rather was lowered like a rag doll or beetle on its back. This should have triggered the instructor to question whether my harness was on correctly or at least to be checked before the zip line. At the zip line, you are told to hold a rope with both hands and then to LET GO when yelled to. I did exactly as told but this time, because my harness was apparently riding too low on my hips, the pull on my hips up made it impossible to stay upright and I fell 20 feet hitting the water flat on my back. The image of my falling is now a nightmare for my children. It was at this point that Ricardo began to make me feel like I was doing something wrong. At a next element, Ricardo helps to push you through the air, over a waterfall, onto a sliding rock. Seemed fine had I not just whacked my back. I opted for an easier route but needed lots of help because I could not lift my legs in the suit. Nearing the end, we had to scoot under a rope and then slowly lower ourselves down a slide to a stop and jump off a ledge. I was not able to stop myself largely because of the immobility of bending my legs and went over dropping the 5-6 feet with momentum. It was here that I broke my finger. I had one more fall before getting out where we were reunited by our clothes. It was here that my son twice was electrocuted my the fence right next to us and between us and the van before Jan said it was electrified. Canyoning is risky, I get that. Ricardo was rude, made me feel as though I was in error, and seemed overly frustrated to have me on the trip. There were a total of 12 people with Ricardo and Jan. Ricardo gave all the instruction over the sound of the rushing canyon. My family was in the back and struggled to always hear. When I said to him that I didn’t hear the instruction, his answer was I should listen. I restated my comment asking him to repeat the instruction but already I was taking too much time again. Ricardo stated he would call the day after to check on my finger. He did not. We were also never offered photos or videos of the day. In conclusion, I blame the equipment for the struggles of the day that were in fact dangerous. I would not return on any excursion with Ricardo.
