Zermatt Summer Ski: Private Glacier Masterclass!

Had some great private ski sessions with Matthew - amazing coach, extremely professional, responsible and focus. I had to book an extra session right after having the first one because I was learning so much. I’m very happy about my improvement at the end and skiing with Matthew was an absolute pleasure. He’s also very knowledgeable about the area so if you fancy an audio guide on the mountains and routes as you ride up the lift, he is the guy. :)

If you're looking for private ski lessons in Zermatt, I highly recommend working with Matthew! As complete first-time skiers, we were understandably nervous and unsure, but Matthew was incredibly helpful and sympathetic to our newbie status. He was patient, encouraging, and made us feel comfortable on the slopes, despite our initial wobbles. A word of caution: while the views in Zermatt are absolutely breathtaking, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as the best place for your first ski experience. The terrain is challenging, even on the beginner slopes, and the thinner air at that altitude definitely doesn't help! That being said, with Matthew's guidance, we managed to get down the hill (multiple times!), and the feeling of accomplishment was incredible. If you're up for a challenge and want to learn to ski with stunning Matterhorn views, then go for it! Just be prepared for a steeper learning curve and book those private lessons with Matthew – you'll be glad you did!

Our instructor Ari was incredible at guiding us and making us feel comfortable on the slopes as my friend and I were very nervous! He was so patient and kind and made it a really enjoyable experience for us. We really couldn’t have done it without him and he taught us so much in just two lessons. Would highly recommend!

We booked a private lesson for my 14 year daughter, who wanted to improve her technique. Annmarie was absolutely fantastic and my daughter loved the lesson. She came away much more confident and clearly had learnt much from Annmarie, even in just 3 hours. She instantly put my daughter at ease and we'd thoroughly recommend PDS and Annmarie. Our instructor Ari has been a phenomenal help to guide us into our ski experience at Zermatt, guiding us through different slopes, areas, and teaching our kids some amazing skiing techniques. He is very professional, supportive and knowledgeable, making anyone’s first ski experience enjoyable.

We got to have a private skiing lesson with Matthew! Traveled all the way from Mexico to Zermatt! It was our first time skiing and Matthew did wonders! Super chill and easy going pal! Very patient with us, as well as supportive! By the end of the day, we were able to ski down all the way from the top of the funicular down to the very bottom of the mountain! It was amazing overall! I had initially reserved through Viator, but there were some issues and they ended up canceling the initial reservation. I contacted PDS SNOW SPORTS directly through their Instagram account and through WhatsApp! They responded immediately and helped me out with a new reservation! I would one hundred percent recommend this agency if you just wanna feel at peace with your activities! They were awesome! Will be definitely booking again with them whenever I have the opportunity to do so!

I had an excellent experience with Ari as my ski instructor. He was patient and provided clear, constructive feedback throughout the lesson. His ability to break down techniques and offer helpful drills made a noticeable difference in my form and overall confidence on the slopes. I highly recommend Ari for his effective teaching style and genuine dedication to helping students improve.

We had an incredible 3-hour lesson with Annemarie, and it was absolutely amazing! In just a short time, she took us from complete beginners to feeling confident at an improver level. She was extremely patient, thorough in explaining the technique and made learning both fun and effective. If you’re coming here to ski, definitely ask for Annemarie—she’s a fantastic instructor!

I had a great experience with PDS Snowsport! I had ski lessons with Keira last year as well as this year, she is very professional and lessons with her is a great combination of usefulness and fun! I improved my skills drastically with Keira ! I also had lessons with Anna and Matthew this year. Their lessons helped me a lot as well!
