São Paulo's Ultimate Beach Escape: Private Santos & Guarujá

I decided to take this excursion so I could do some exploring outside the city of Sao Paulo. I wasn't sure what to expect but hoped to see a few interesting historical sites, take in views, and most importantly do some relaxing on the beach. I got all of those things and more. Kali was my tour guide and she was amazing. She reached out the day before to coordinate pick up. She texted in the morning to let me know she was on her way and we departed Sao Paulo on time to our first destination in Santos. The weather was pretty cloudy and a bit rainy but Kali assured that we would make the best of the day. In Santos, we visited the Pele Museum and took the tram ride. Given the weather, I told Kali that I'd like to spend a little more time in Santos and less time at the beach. She graciously adapted the schedule and we took some extra time to have a coffee and visit the Coffee Museum then go to an overlook to take pictures. After Santos, we went over to Guaruja and went to another overlook where we could see the coastline and beautiful beach. We then made our way to the beach and went to a lovely beach side restaurant where we had a delicious lunch of fresh seafood. After some time relaxing on the beach, we made the journey back to Sao Paulo where Kali again went above and beyond to recommend some tips to help me finish out some last minute shopping as I was leaving to go home the next day. Overall a wonderful day! Kali had great advice for my final hours in Sao Paulo as well as being so welcoming and fun to be around. I highly recommend this tour to anyone considering a day trip out of Sao Paulo.
