We had a great day out with our driver and guide Adrian. Thanks guys. Came home looking for a nap....after checking out and sharing some great pics. Heads up for the blurb on trip advisor. There is time set aside for an organized lunch that you pay $6 for, you don't need to bring food. The website also doesn't make clear just how cold it can get. We had great weather but it can turn very fast and thermal layers should be carried.

A long trip starting from 7 am till 5.30 pm. But the tour organization was outstanding. The tour guide made the trip safe, informative and enjoyable. It was a small group of about 15 people. The driver deserves a full complement as he has drive in Quito with heavy traffic and narrow streets. When we were in the mountains, required extra attention and care. He was impressive and made us feel safe. The tour guide Jessica was knowledgeable, helpful and caring of the passengers. Her English was impressive and faultless. I have traveled around the world and used several tour organizers, including Viator. But undoubtedly this was the best trip I had, in terms of service, communication.safety etc. I would strongly recommend this your tour since I believe this to be one of the most unique mountain hiking trip to explore.

The whole trip was just amazing, and Irene our guide and Jimmy our driver were outstanding. Irene was very friendly, very helpful, very professional and she went extra miles to make sure we get the best experience in visiting Cotopaxi. Irene deserves all the recognition and support from her bosses and supervisors. She is remarkable.

Very well organised, Pam was our guide and made me smile all the way through, very professional and knowledgeable, I learnt a lot about Ecuador on this trip. The weather was not the best but we still managed to catch a few sights of the volcano

it sounded easier than it was. the 50' hike at that altitude felt like walking through molasses, absolutely breathless. the view of the surrounding landscape was magnificent.

Diana and Andres were fantastic guides. Great communication and knowledge base about all things Cotopaxi. Pick up was punctual, the food stops were great, and the hike was well-suited for a day tour for amateur mountaineers.

I had originally booked a different tour to Cotopaxi and that got cancelled. I was a bit salty, and just randomly chose this tour, though I was a bit unnerved about trekking up a mountain Reader, I had no reason to be salty and serendipity led me to a perfect tour. Everything about the day was fantastic: the scenery, prompt pickups, communication, the group I was with and the weather. An unbelievable and unforgettable day was had by all Many of these things are things, like weather, are beyond one’s control. But if you can, get Irene as a guide. She is superb. Or beyond superb! She’s knowledgeable, has a deep love for Ecuador and the Cotopaxi region (and locra de papas…but don’t we all) and brings grace, humour, wit, and engagement to the tour. You cannot go wrong visiting Ecuador, or Quito, or Cotopaxi. You can’t go wrong eating locra de papas for every meal. And you can’t go wrong taking a trip with Irene.
