Omaha Beach: Unforgettable D-Day Morning Landing Tour

This was an amazing tour. Our guide Antoine was fantastic in every way. So knowledgeable and personable, an absolute delight! This was my second trip to the beaches of Normandy and I came away even more awed of the bravery and sacrifice of all who were involved. Thank you to Antoine and Overlord Tours!

This was a wonderful and informative tour. All the thanks go to Remy, the best guide ever! Remy not only had an enormous amount of knowledge, but he was able to relate it in a very moving and engaging manner. To hear the stories while standing on the beach, made everything seem very real. I was researching my father’s experience at Omaha beach and this was very helpful. The American Cemetery was also very moving. I highly recommend this tour!

REMY was our half day tour guide. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and exuded passion for sharing the history of the planning and execution of DDay. The visual aids were extremely helpful because I had limited knowledge of this extraordinary military event. He made it understandable for a non military person like myself. I could not believe the details of the military soldiers he shared with us. He was a first class guide.

This mornings’ half-day tour of the Omaha Beach was informative and moving. Our guide, Remy, shared his obvious passion and depth of knowledge through dynamic storytelling and related photos. He inspired me to do more reading and exploration with the resources he shared. Helpful to wear warm layers out there on the windy beach.

we enjoyed our tour way more than we thought we would. Remy was so good at sharing the story of Omaha beach in our half day tour. we really walked away understanding the weight of it all and what a huge moment in history it was through individual stories. that was unexpected and due to Remy’s passion to share the stories of the lives sacrificed. it was so worth going with Overlord!

Had an amazing trip with Overlord Tours and our guide Louis Boubat. Louis was so knowledgeable and interesting, giving us all kinds of information and “fun facts” about the area. The group wasn’t too large and we had time to explore the American cemetery on our own for a bit, which I appreciated. I would highly recommend this company!

Remy was amazing!! We had a coach bus full of 40+ people and did a “hop-on” guide for the day. The office was very easy to work with/schedule. What a surreal experience! Loic was amazing, we had such an unreal time he was very knowledge. Thanks for putting up with my 15 month year old that was getting out of hand. I will defiantly be back to do Band of Brothers tour next time!
