Milford Sound Majesty: Premium Coach & Cruise from Queenstown

Had a great day with Pure Milford. We were picked up in Queenstown and did the full trip to Milford Sound and back!! A great driver and tour guide.

We joined the Milford sound day trip today. It was a great experience and we have a fantastic tour guide and driver. His name is Nev, well done. Looking to go back there again.

Really enjoyed going to Milford Sound. The scenery is stunning, among the best I have seen. The drive through Fjordland National Park is amazing also. Our bus driver was great, we felt very safe on the narrow roads and he gave us some interesting info along the way. I would definitely recommend this trip, however, please be aware that it is a long day. We went from Queenstown and from start to finish it was about 12 hours, which included nearly 10 hours of driving. I would advise taking the tour from Te Anau rather than Queenstown which is a slightly shorter drive.

The tour of Milford sound and through the Fiordland National Park is truly beautiful and breathtaking. It is definitely a must. However it is a long journey there and back. I think it took 14 hours and with kids it got very tiring. I would have preferred a smaller group tour if it was possible because it got very exhausting. I wish it was communicated how long the tour would be in the description unless I missed it so we could have been better prepared.

My trip to milford sound was awesome. My driver was Nick as soon as we left queenstown he told as all about the history of everything we past on the road . He kept us entertained all the way until we reached back hotel. On our way back to queenstown he gave us a quiz so we remembered what he told us. Nick cared about all passengers by saying is everyone on the bus and to check if their family members are with them. When everyone was leaving at their bus stops, Nick came out on every bus stop giving as a warm goodbye.

Had such an incredible time on our Milford Sound bus tour, the scenery was absolutely ethereal - so grateful our family got to experience these sights. Our driver Ivan (sorry if i spelt it wrong!) was amazing: super informative, engaging and had the best energy the whole day. The stops were well-paced and thoughtfully chosen and the commentary made the drive genuinely enjoyable. Definitely worth it !! :)

We enjoyed every moment of the trip to Milford Sound. Thank you to Ivan for making this day such a memorable one. His stories and information shared along the way was informative, interesting and entertaining. And all the stops for photo opportunities were much appreciated, capturing special memories to take home.

This was a really great tour and the views made it worth the price. Our driver Annette made the long drive go by quickly with her engaging commentary about Māori history and lots of interesting facts about the land we were passing through. Would definitely recommend!

We did the day trip from Queenstown to Milford sound. The views from the cruise at Milford Sound were phenomenal. In addition to the beautiful cruise of the fiord, you also get amazing commentary on the drive out. Annette was an amazing driver, who provided an engaging story of every land mark we passed. In addition, she shared interesting stories and history of the Māori culture, which was a really nice addition. The only criticism I have on the tour is the price of the lunch. I would recommend packing a lunch if possible to avoid paying the high mark up for the chicken picnic lunch. But overall this tour was a great way to see Milford Sound and Annette was an amazing driver/tour guide.
