I had a wonderful time on the Private: Pagsanjan Falls & Scenic Taal Volcano Tour (2-in-1). The waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking and worth every bit of the journey! The boatmen were incredible – so skilled, friendly, and funny. They really made the experience special, and as someone who’s a bit, *or a lot) clumsy, I appreciated how they made sure I was safe while walking on the rocks. The boat ride itself was an adventure - exciting, peaceful, and full of stunning scenery. I also want to give special shout out to my guide Allan, who was fantastic: funny, chatty, knowledgeable, and very easy to be around. As a solo traveller, it made such a difference to feel comfortable and at ease during the long drive and the day overall. The tour was well-organised, welcoming, and respectful from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to experience some of the Philippines’ most beautiful natural spots.

Great excursion. I highly recommend. Make sure to read the details, and know that getting to the waterfall is quite an ordeal. It was awesome, but we had no idea that you get taken in a canoe up the river to get there, take full note of the restrictions. They'll also ask you some extra info about the group going to that they can plan the right team to take you up there, the two boat guides work really hard to get you to that waterfall, be ready with some tip money! There will also be a stop along the way for snacks on the side of the river, and they will encourage you buy lunch for the boat guides. Make sure to have cash in local currency, many places did not take card payments.

Our tour guide Carlo was great. He was on time picking us up from our hotel. We drove about 45 minutes out before stopping for breakfast at Mc Donald’s. We then headed to Tagaytay to view the Taal Volcano from different viewing areas. He was very informative of any questions we had. We then headed to Pagsanjan Falls where we got on a canoe type boat and had two men paddling. Once we reached the waterfall it was everything I hoped it would be. We then got on a bamboo raft and made our way to and inside the falls where we were able to swim and take pictures. This has been the highlight of our trip so far. Highly recommend Carlo and this tour.

Amazing experience with great lunch stop! The only thing was the traffic. On the way through small towns, if there’s one accident, the whole street gets closed.

Excellent experience! The drivers who picked us up were professional, friendly, and accommodated our requests to stop for breakfast, souvenirs and toilet breaks. Taal volcanao and the lake ride were picturesque and the ride to Pagsanjan falls was amazing. I took my Australian friends here and they were all impressed. Highly recommend as a daytrip!

If we were to do the day trip all over again, I would recommend skipping the trip to Taal Volcano as it took a LONG time to get there and had to be happy with a view of it from afar. The trip to the falls was one of the pilots of our entire 7-week trip to Asia. I wouldn't have wanted to skip that at all, at all, at all. It was that fabulous. The driver was courteous. Prompts punctual and I really appreciated how he pointed out sites for me along the way that I could take pictures of and interesting facts about the country things that I would never have found out otherwise. All in all a great trip!

It was a long day with traffic, but the time on the water made it all worth it. The amount of effort our two guides put in to get us up the rapids was something we had never seen before. 16 in total and they worked so hard in an incredible river cavern with sheer walls and other falls made for an amazing trip. Once at the falls, we enjoyed a bamboo raft journey to the go under the falls which was so invigorating along with a 10 minute hang out in the cave. The trip was long. The time at the Volcanoes was not much and I could have just done the river and falls if that was an option. The driver was professional in a great car. We saw a lot outside of Manila, just be prepared that even with a great driver it still took just 3 hours to go 35 miles. Though the views and experiences you see along the way are very interesting.

This is a great trip, where two locals paddled us up a river to a magnificent waterfall. The river journey goes up 17 rapids and took more than an hour. The locals do all the paddling, navigating, and work--so we were able to take in the wonderful views. We saw Monkeys in the trees, while being paddled through a deep jungled gorge, culminating at a waterfall. We were taken the last 100-yards on a bamboo raft directly through the waterfall into a cave. Fascinating--and wet. We needed the wet because the journey is hot. We spent about three hours in the canoe-like boat.

Our driver and guide was a real pleasure to travel with. He arrived about 30 minutes before the time we agreed to meet. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The car was comfortable and spacious. The tour was well managed, very interesting as well as a lot of fun, especially the Pagsanjan Falls!

The river boat ride to the falls was amazing, beautiful. Just be aware to bring cash as tips are heavily pushed for for each of the two boatmen and they will also try to get you to buy them lunch. All totally worth it but just don't be surprised like we were! Don't miss this experience!!!!
