This Nara tour was the Best! Our tour guide Nao shared many interesting details of the neighborhood and temples that I think only a person who grew up in Nara would know. We had a great time and I would recommend it to everyone! We are very pleased with the Magical Tours that we’ve been on. Thank you!

Spent an awesome 12 day self guided walking trip of the Caostal Camino. Walked through forests, gorgeous villages over or along side rivers and of course sea views. Utracks took care of transferring our luggage each day with no issues. All the accommodations were good though we did have two places that had us booked into double room instead of the requested twin - no problem as our booking agent with Utracks quickly sorted it out. Just beware that some accommodation does add some extra km's onto your days walk (so get in early when booking your trip). We chose the option of not having dinners supplied and didn't have any issues of finding anywhere to eat. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had no rain (Sep/Oct) it did start to get hot by mid morning which could be a little draining by the end of the longer walking days (don't know how people manage this in the summer months). Good value for the price highly recommend.

Shin was very knowledgeable about Temples and gave us all the information we needed on how to make wishes. We had easy access to Temples, even when it was overcrowded. It was a very fun walking tour in Nara. The lunch stop was excellent. Thank you Shin. From Peter & Ozlem

This was an outstanding tour! Our guide, Miyabi, was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about Nara’s history and culture. She was friendly, courteous, and made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable throughout the day. The tour itself was comprehensive, well-paced, and full of fascinating stops and stories. I learned so much and had a lot of fun along the way. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Nara!

This is 100% worth it. Our guide Yuki was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. She gave us a lot of history on all the stops and welcomed any and all questions along the way. Very personable and caring for our small group!
