Light easy walking, lots of food! Versatile for food restrictions also. Great tour host, gracias Viry!

I got lucky to be the only one in the group, although they are usually completely filled. Germán, the guide, was born in Polanco and knows the area and the places to see and eat. We spent three hours walking through that lovely neighborhood, conversing, and stopping to sample the food and the drinks. Two food stops were the most memorable - café El Bajío, where we tasted a fabulous Pechuga con Mole, and a hole in the wall Tribix, where we had Cochinita Pibil, easily one of the best tacos in CDMX

Our tour guide German was amazing! He grew up in the area and shared so many personalized anecdotes and facts about the area, his family, and childhood. We sampled soup, mole, tacos, tostadas, nieves, hot chocolate and learned about the significance of each dish. The night flew by between the delicious food and easy conversation.

The Polanco Food Tour was one of the best experiences I had in Mexico City. Every stop was delicious and full of flavor. Our guide German made it even better with his knowledge, humor, and passion for food and culture. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time. If you love good food and great company, this tour is a must.

Our guide Chef Viry was really terrific explaining Mexican food culture and cuisine. The food choices were both varied and top notch. Throw in a walk through beautiful Polanco and you have a lovely evening.

Luis German was such an awesome tour guide! Highly recommend. He grew up in the neighborhood and has such a good knowledge of the historical and political influences on the food. He also shared his family’s mole recipes and traditions. I highly recommend him for anyone looking to learn more about the neighborhood and Mexican culture and culinary history. Tip: arrive hungry. You’ll be eating plenty!

I went on the Polanco food tour with a group of friends and we all had a wonderful experience. Our guide, Viridiana, was knowledgeable, friendly and fluent in English. We visited 7 different places and tried many different foods and drinks and we enjoyed them all. The guide was accommodating by giving alternate options to a member of our group that was vegetarian. As part of the food tour we also walked through many interesting areas and sights within the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City. The food tour was well worth the price.

What an INCREDIBLE experience. Chef Viry was such a knowledgeable tour guide, and was so fun and personable. We were paired with two other small groups and everyone was so lovely. The food was DELICIOUS and we also got a non-alcoholic drink at every food stop which was unexpected but awesome. I feel like we got SUCH good value from this trip.
