Phnom Penh's Secret Street Food: Tuk-tuk Night Bites

Our guide Vy was lovely. She took us to some lovely places to eat, explained the food & the best way to eat it. All the places were clean & food was delicious. The Tuk Tuk driver was great too.

The guide and her assistant were very professional, as well as the tuk-tuk driver. We had very good good in local places, ir was both tasteful abd plentiful. The guides also gave us some informations on Cambodian culture. It was a lovely expérience.

Vy was a great host, taking us around 5 Phnom Penh locations for a great range of Cambodian dishes (and beers). The TukTuks are great fun and very safely driven and the journey itself around Phnom Penh after dark was a good way to get a feel for the city. We’ve found Lost Plate tours to be excellent in other cities (Xian, Suzhou) and highly recommend this one. Not cheap, but a fantastic experience. Thanks Vy and the team

Yesterday we took this food tour with Vy. It was our 3rd night in the city and an excellent way to see things we would never have managed on our own. The 5 venues we stopped at were superb - often family owned - and provided opportunities to try a range of dishes. Our guide Vy was lovely, very informative and friendly. We enjoyed her company and getting to know more about Cambodian culture. Our tuk tuk driver was very considerate, taking time to ensure we were safe and dry! All in all would definitely recommend.

A great evening with an extensive range of local delights. Vesna was a fabulous guide full of knowledge not just about the origins of the food but about local culture and politics too. A fun night with teenagers who all gave the dishes a try. The tuk tuks are a bonus way to see the lesser known areas of PP. Highly recommend!

The tour was fantastic and a great way to explore the local food scene, especially places out of sight that foreigners may not normally go to without a local guide. The food was fantastic and the tour guide, Veasna, was superb. He was very knowledgeable and knew a lot about the history of Khmer cuisine. Would recommend a tour with Veasna to eat great food and learn about Cambodia’s culinary history.

Vy was great, helpful and energetic all the time. Great locations and a good balance of authentic local of the beaten track cuisine. Fantastic tastes and defo do again. Highly recommend, 2nd time with lost plates and will keep booking with them. Excellent must try to get real true taste

We had such an awesome tour with Vy today! She speaks great English and was easy to understand. She explained what we were eating at each stop. We loved that she ate with us and we got to know each other. We would highly recommend this activity in Phnom Penh!

We did the evening tour by tuk tuk. Chakriya was great. She was very knowledgeable and very well spoken. I had a slight mishap in that my thong decided to break mid tour so she negotiated a new pair from a street vendor which went well and above. The food was lovely and a great variety. I even tried frog for the first time!
