Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

My husband and I went on this tour cruise and we were very satisfied. It was one of the first things we did during our stay. They delivered all that was promised and more. The operators were knowledgeable, energetic and entertaining. We saw lots of dolphins and learned interesting information about the area. Would highly recommend!!

Very friendly crew, laid back and relaxing. The crew made it fun for kids and we saw lots of dolphins. The island stop is fun!

I cannot recommend this tour enough! We saw multiple pairs of mother and child dolphins, and at one point while they were playing kind of near the boat I did my best “ee-ee-ee” dolphin call, and four of them came and jumped up right next to the boat and then swam underneath it!’ It was such a joyful experience and the crew was awesome - shout out to Captain Dillon and Sam. Plus it’s very reasonably priced: go on this tour - you will love it!

What an amazing time! The staff and crew were absolutely wonderful. Kaitlyn/Caitlin and captain Tim were so friendly and knowledgeable. We saw tons of dolphins and had a great boat ride and stop at the island. It was so nice to see the different companies working together to ensure all guests got to experience the dolphins! 10/10 highly recommend.

Fun experience! Saw a bunch of dolphins and Katelynn educated on dolphins and other animals throughout the tour. The kids enjoyed looking for sea shells on the island. Definitely recommend!

Katelynn was a great guide! Would highly recommend this dolphin tour. Tons of room on boat and tour was very thorough and eventful.

We had an awesome time!!! We seen dolphins and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions!!! Definitely recommend.

Awesome, the All-Female crew was Excellent, Wife and I enjoyed the 90 minute 'dolphin' cruise. Sandbar was fun, interesting trip, highly recommend.

Took my 4 & 8 year old granddaughters and all of us really enjoyed it.The 4 year old keeps talking about the dolphin who’s fin got clipped by a boat. They also enjoyed searching for sea shells. The guides were awesome.
