Unforgettable Yosemite: 2-Day SF Nature Adventure & Escape

If you think you’ve been on a tour with the best ever tour guide, you must have been out with Lana. I’ve just returned from her tour to Yosemite - a 2 day tour where we did so much it felt like we’d been away a week !! Lana could not have done any more for us - tour guide, van driver, historian, geologist, you name it - she did it From the minute she picked me up at 0615 to when she dropped me at 2100 the next day all she thought about was giving her customers’ the best experience… She clearly explained to everyone - repeatedly - the plan, the food options, the toilet stops, where the best places to go were, the pros and cons to some of the walks… We saw giant Sequoias, stunning autumnal colours, fantastic views of Half Dome, El Cap, Yosemite Falls - and Lana even guided 3 of the party on a 4.5 hour hike up the Mist Trail to Vernal Falls - a really rewarding trek which we all admitted we wouldn’t have done on our own without Lana. I also loved her pleasant, considerate attitude when we were trying to agree plans and timings as a group - easily dealing with customers from 5 different countries and by the end everyone thought they’d got what they wanted…. Be aware - this is a tiring trip - an early start, a long day, an early start, a full day and a late finish …. That’s how you do so much on a 2 day trip …. You get 6+ hours to do what you want in the Yosemite Valley floor on day 2 - which can be as strenuous or as relaxing as you want it to be I cannot recommend the trip or the guide enough - had a great experience with Incredible Adventures and with Lana. Got my eye on a trip to Muir Woods next - and Napa Valley.

Everything was OK, excepting small delay with boarding to the bus (picking up from the dedicated point, actually). The tour itinerary is good, our guide was very professional, lodging's quality was as expected. We can sincerely recommend this tour

Had a brilliant few days at the park. Our tour leader Lana was exceptional, very knowledgable, and took such good care of us all, checking all went smoothly for us all. Also very helpful in giving individual ideas for the free time on the second day. It was an amazing experience, highly recommend.

Great introduction to Yosemite, seeing all the major sights above and around the valley, with enough time to go on a longer day walk by ourselves the second day. The guide, Sharon, was personable, knowledgeable, accommodating. Of the 9 in the group, 2 of us stayed overnight outside the park at Yosemite View Lodge. This was unexpected, and I would have preferred to know ahead of time, but it worked out fine as we stayed as long as we wanted inside the park before being driven the 20 minutes to the accommodation. The place we stayed had a great breakfast and air conditioning, unlike the lodge inside the park, at the expense of some flexibility.

Our tour guide Sam was great. Very knowledgeable about the sites of Yosemite including El Capitan and The Half Dome. Visited Ansel Adams gallery which was awesome. Sam lead the actual hikes so it was seamless. The views were fabulous. I would recommend this tour. The four hour drive from San Francisco was long esp with all twelve of us stuffed in a van but it worked out fine. Stopped every two hours to stretch our legs and grab something to eat. The other participants were friendly.

This was such an incredible experience! Our tour guide, Sam, was so lovely & very knowledgeable about San Francisco, Yosemite & the surrounding areas. Our accommodation was very comfortable & well equipped & the mini bus we travelled in was also great. We did a hike on day 1 to look at the giant sequoia trees with Sam but day 2 we were free to roam. However, Sam suggested a hike & accompanied us & it was well worth the uphill climb to see the view from the top. We felt like we had really experienced the park even though it was only a short space of time which we spent there. My only criticism was issues with communication (I couldn’t get hold of Inc Adventures to confirm our trip which I had been told was necessary) this led to a slight panic but all came good in the end. We also hadn’t been given any specific information on the tour schedule or what to pack but this might have been because we booked through Trailfinders. All in all, I wouldn’t think twice about recommending this tour- you won’t be disappointed!!

Great trip. Took the bus down on day 1 to see some sights along the way, and had day 2 to do some activities of your own choice Annie was a great guide. Good driver, and tour guide. Narrated some interesting history and stories about the area! Highly recommend
