Fantastic experience. Felix was very informative and understood the needs of our group. Also, we really appreciated the company's flexibility with our interest in doing a customized trip/schedule. Highly recommend!

My husband & I just returned from spending the most beautiful 12 hours today with Jesús, visiting the petrified falls of Herve el Agua, the archeological ruins of Mitla, a mezcal distillery, a textile workshop in Teotitlán del Valle where we learned about the fascinating process of making the traditional Zapotec rugs, with a final stop at the 2000 year old Tule tree. From our 7am pick up until our 6:30pm drop off, Jesús kept us engaged with history of the area, explanations of sights along the route, and was just a super-pleasant & knowledgeable guy to spend the day with. We stopped for breakfast and coffee at a local roadside eatery with delicious food, and later in the day at a restaurant for yet another tasty meal. From the initial inquiry about booking with Oaxaca Conmigo, to the communication the morning of pickup, Antonio was responsive and easy to work with. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a reason Oaxaca Conmigos has 5⭐️ reviews. I join with their previous customers in highly recommending them!!

We loved it! Tony, our guide, was super nice and very knowledgeable. He shared so much with us about the place and its culture. We were able to customize the tour and saw many interesting and beautiful spots. Personally, we loved Hierve el Agua and Teotitlán del Valle but everything was amazing. Highly recommend taking this tour and experiencing everything Oaxaca has to offer!

We booked a private tour for 4 with Oaxaca Conmigo and had a wonderful time. It was easy to book the tour and communicate with the team. We enjoyed our first tour so much that we booked a last minute second one. Antonio, Felix and Jesus were wonderful tour guides, enjoyable to talk to, and accomodated our dietary needs (vegetarian). Thank you Oaxaca Conmigo!

This was a great tour. Our guide Jesus is excellent and his knowledge and humor were very much appreciated! We will be back for other tours with him.

We just got back from Oaxaca and I wanted to share my experience with Oaxaca Conmigo. We booked a day trip to Hierve Al Agua, Milta, Mezcal, and Tule Tree. I communicated with Antonio and he was attentive and responsive to all my requests and questions. I travelled with my wife and 2 kids (ages 8 and 10). Felix picked us up on time and we were off to Hierve. The transport was clean and roomy. Felix and I talked the whole time and he gave us some great insight on the city and culture. Felix is fluent in English but we spoke in spanish. Felix was attentive to my kids and would explain stuff to them so they could understand what we were seeing and exploring. The day trip was long. Felix picked us up at 7am and we were back at our hotel around 6pm. We got some good food along the way. First, before we got to Hierve we ate at a restaurant/house and the breakfast was so good. During lunch, Felix took us to a chef's house in the middle of nowhere. The food was amazing. Authentic mole freshly made by Chef Dalia. Aside from the day trip, we also booked private transport to and from the airport with Antonio. No issues and solid communication with our driver. Lastly, our last day in Oaxaca, my wife really wanted to go to the town where they make Alebrijes - San Martin Tilcajete. Instead of grabbing a taxi and exploring on our own, I emailed Antonio and he booked a last min trip for us. Felix picked us up from the city center and off we went. Felix had a 6 pack of beer waiting for me in his cooler and we arrived at San Martin an hour later. He took us to a workshop where the employees explained the alebrije process and showed us step-by-step how they are made. My kids also got to paint their own alebrije. Once you get there, they tell you what your alebrije is based off your bday and birth year. It was a very cool experience. I can't recommend these guys enough. They are down to earth and very customer service oriented. They don't have "no" in their vocabulary. They made our trip so special especially with the anxiety of travelling with small children. It was amazing and I hope their company continues to grow! thank you boys! you guys were great.

If you are in Oaxaca and take just one tour, this is the tour to take. There is a reason that almost every reviewer has rated this tour as excellent. It is private and completely flexible as what you want to do and see. If you are not sure about what you want to do because there are so many things to do and see in and around Oaxaca, the tour company can help advise you on what to do based on your interests. For our tour, my wife and I were picked up right on time from our hotel by our tour guide Jesus. Jesus was awesome. I will remember the tour as much for him as I will for the amazing places we visited. He was very knowledgeable, funny and very easy to talk too. There was never a dull moment with him and he seemed genuinely concerned that we have the best experience possible. For our personalized tour, we were driven in a very comfortable, airconditioned SUV and spent the entire day visiting archeological sites, seeing petroglyphs in ancient caves, visiting a Sunday market in a neighboring small town, and seeing the famous petrified falls of Hierve el agua. It was an amazing day and truly one of the most memorable things we did in Mexico.

We had an unforgettable day on our private tour in Oaxaca, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we were picked up on time at our hotel, we knew we were in good hands. Our guide, Jesús, was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history and culture of the region.

Our first stop was Monte Albán, where Jesús gave us a fascinating and in-depth tour. He was able to answer all of our questions and it was obvious he truly cares about sharing the story of this incredible site. From there, we went to Santo Tomás Jalieza and were welcomed into the home of traditional weavers. They took the time to explain their process and traditions, and it felt like such a privilege to be invited into their world. Next, we explored the Friday market at Ocotlán de Morelos and have to privilege of having lunch at Cocina de Frida. We ended the day with a mezcal tour, where the distiller generously spent over 90 minutes walking us through the entire mezcal-making process. She was warm, knowledgeable, and clearly devoted to her craft. At every stop, we felt welcomed and never rushed. Jesús was not only an excellent guide, but a genuinely interesting and kind person. His English is excellent, and he was great to talk to throughout the day. This was the kind of experience that stays with you. There is no way we could have recreated this day on our own. I’ll remember it for the rest of my life, and I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to have experienced Oaxaca on such a meaningful level.
