Unforgettable Provence: Aix, Marseille & Cassis Private Tour

Our driver was Knowledgeable about the area and very flexible With what we wanted to do. We enjoyed lunch with a sea view based on his recommendation! It was a lovely day

We had Nichola as our tour guide for our port day in Marseilles. He met us at the cruise terminal and drove us around for the whole day He was a wealth of knowledge and gave excellent suggestions for the best macarons in Aix-en-Provence, and a delicious sea side restaurant in Cassie. He was flexible with the itinerary and very accommodating as we had kids with us aging 4-15. We so enjoyed our time with Nichola and would gladly request him on our next trip.

We had a great tour with our guide. We could walk in historic Aix en Provence, picture ourselves on Cassis cliff and tour Marseille with a stop at the Notre dame cathedral.

There was a mixup between guide and travel agency that caused an hour delay resulting in an abbreviated tour. Silvio was pleasant, knowledgeable, thoughtful and helpful providing information and insight in a useful manner. The agency provided adequate compensation for the truncated tour.

We had the best time. Guy is an excellent tour guide. Cassis and Marseille are quintessential Provence. The beauty, charm and character were beautiful. It looked better and tasted better than the movies.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with our guide Robin and would use him again. We wanted to alter our itinerary and he eagerly provided an adaptation.

Perfect tour for our family of five and with leisure and comfortable stops at the lavender fields and have time to explore. Gracious guide who was patient and kind.

Christophe was great and since we had already been in Cassis, we went to another village instead. This tour is way too expensive for an 8 hour experience for only 2 people. That being my only complaint. We spent alot of time driving rather than walking, sightseeing, etc. Aix and the other village were an excellent addition and we did spend time outside.

We had the most excellent day! Our guide was so extremely friendly & unlike most day tours, we never felt like we were in a rush. He was very accommodating when we needed extra time enjoying certain spots. Start early & check out the smaller villages before the crowds. It was truly a perfect, beautiful day!

Our guide Guy was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. If I had to do it again I would skip AIX and head straight to Cassis to spend more time there since it is so beautiful. We had to fit in alot in a short period of time but he did take us to many good spots and photo opportunities. On the downside while his spoken english was very good, he had a hard time understanding our english. I feel like there should have been an itinerary for the tour- no particular one was given and a bit more thought into bathroom rest stops would have been helpful as there were times we were out in the middle of nowhere and no place to stop. It was basically an 8 hour tour with no consideration for rest stops along the way or any suggestions as to where to eat. Our van was nice but the one row of seats was backwards and there are MANY hills and turns in Cassis and Marseille, leaving most of us borderline car sick through most of the trip. I would still do it again in a heartbeat, Cassis is a must see.
