Melbourne's Wild Wonders: Penguins, Koalas & Iconic Beach

It was a beautiful day full of emotions. We saw a lot of wildlife and at the end those cute penguins. Thank you Lucy, our guide, for this great experience!

Bob, our driver, was a great guide and went out of his way to create a memorable experience: friendly, inclusive, knowledgeable, and just plain fun to spend the day with. Love Aleks bright personality and she was really knowledgeable in teaching us about penguins and the history behind penguin island. Would definitely recommend to come hear if you are in for some wildlife

This is an amazing day tour. Naomi, our guide/driver, is very knowledgeable about the city, the animals, and anything else you want to know, as well as a great sense of humor. The Moonlit Sanctuary was great, but I was disappointed that I couldn’t do the koala encounter. We did see a lot of them, though. The kangaroos and wallabies love being fed, and are really very gentle and friendly. The Nobbies is interesting, as to get to see the actual volcanic rock that formed the country. You can also see a few penguins in their burrows, if you’re as lucky as I. But the highlight is definitely the penguin parade. I recommend upgrading to the Penguin Premium ticket. We saw more penguins than general admission, and it was well worth it! It is chilly, so dress in layers or a warm jacket. I highly recommend this tour (even though the bus didn’t have a lot of leg room.)

Our guide Jacqui was warm and knowledgeable, and we could feel her love for Melbourne and Australia. She had many fun facts and mini history lessons for us that made our car rides enjoyable. Very impressive. The Penguin Parade was amazing, we get to see cute little penguins even though it was rainy. We also travelled to the Brighton beach boxes along the way and visited Moonlit sanctuary where we got to know more about Australia's iconic animals. Great experience overall!

We spent a wonderful day at Phillip Island with our guide Aleks. She was the perfect driver, guide, photographer, and so much more! The day passed in complete harmony with the entire group, and the perfect conclusion was attending the wonderful Penguin Parade, where Aleks gave us fantastic tips on how to make the most of it.
