Hiro is such a lovely person with a great knowledge base. She really fits to the needs and flow of the group and maintains a good structure of the tour without it becoming too rigid. I really enjoyed the entire thing!

We usually book private tours, but this time we joined a shared group because the reviews were so strong, and it completely lived up to them. Our guide, Kaz, was exceptional. Kind, calm, and deeply knowledgeable, he shared the story of Hiroshima with compassion and honesty. He guided us through key places affected by the bombing, weaving in both historical facts and personal reflections that made the experience powerful and human. The tour was planned beautifully, visiting certain sites first helped us understand what we later saw in the museum on a much deeper level. It truly connected the history, the people, and the emotions of the place. This visit meant a lot to me personally, and having a guide like Kaz made it even more meaningful. Even our 10yo son, who doesn’t usually stay focused on historical tours, was moved by the stories of children and families who lived through that time. It’s rare to find a tour that balances respect, learning, and emotion so well. This one did. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hiroshima.

Mariko was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, sincere, attentive. It was so nice to have someone to walk us through the experiences so we could more fully concentrate on learning and abaorbing the import of the sites. And we have found Hiroshima an amazing, dynamic and creative city.
