Immersive history experience with free audio tour included. Extensive artifacts well curated and more expansive than expected. Highly recommend!

The war rooms were amazing to see. Well worth it. HOWEVER, my experience booking on trip advisor was terrible! For some reason there was an error after booking and my tickets could not be issued to me. The instructions were to meet at Trafalgar Square and look for guide wearing dark blue Vox uniform. After waiting and waiting finally a gentleman in a Vox city jacket walked by. Luckily we stopped him. He was as confused as we were. And just by chance he was headed to the war rooms. He couldn’t understand why our directions were to meet there. We followed him and then waited for check in. Once downstairs we showed our booking. It said unable to issue ticket so please check in under name on booking. No one could help us. They said it was a 3rd party booking and they always have problems with it. So back upstairs and outside. Luckily AGAIN the same gentleman was there to rescue us away! In the end we got in. What a nuisance! To add insult to this situation, we paid £142.12 for 2 on trip advisor. If you walk up, it’s £33 pp!!

Churchill War Rooms was interesting but I thought the Churchill portion of the museum was overdone with anything and everything Churchill so it was more a collection than a story about the man.

We had friends visiting us in London so we decided to book a tour of the highlights (the Churchill part was more for us seen we’d never been before). Really lovely guide who answered any questions. We’re Londoners, but it’s funny how much history you can just walk by without realising it.

I was never able to download the tickets to war room. Nobody to ask for help. The walking tour was educational and Sebastian our guide was great. Because of marathon, most of the tour stops were inaccessible. Feel like this was a big waste of money and a donation to VOX.

Still a 4 out of 5 stars for the professional way Vox City International handed the problem and issued a partial refund. We even booked a second tour with them to Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath thanks to their professionalism. The tour guide and Viator were both 1 out of 5 stars. Our tour guide was a no-show although we waited for 30 minutes in Trafalgar Square next to the large, white cube statue on the 4th Plinth opposite Canada House. Instructions read, "your tour guide will be wearing a dark blue 'Vox City' uniform" and we were later told by the tour guide he was holding a blue and white umbrella but our photos don't show anyone matching this description. I mention this only to help future travelers find the tour guide - provided he is there. Note: although the Churchill War Room tickets were issued for the wrong time (12:30 instead of 2:30 or 3:00), the staff were kind enough to let us use them. The War Room is a full half-day tour. Plan accordingly.
