Panama Canal & City: Breathtaking Engineering & Culture Tour

Huge thank you to Eric (tour guide) and Richard who helped me plan a perfect layover private tour of Panama City! I had 8 hrs to experience Panama for the first time and we packed in a ton of sightseeing and highlights. The main attractions included Casco Viejo (Old Town) and Canal, but Eric took me on a drive and walk to so much more! It was insightful learning about the history and culture of Panama while also learning about the fall and rise of the engineering marvel of the Canal. We had time to shop, get coffee, each lunch, and take many photos. I never felt rushed and it was quite relaxing especially having a comfy van with AC to cool me down after a stroll. I honestly feel I now need to book a much longer trip to experience more of Panama from Pacific to Atlantic and everything in between. People were friendly, Geisha coffee was flavorful, seafood was delicious, skyline was impressive, old town was charming, and that Panama energy felt so lovely! I can’t wait to come back and explore more.

The Canal tour starts early but that’s ideal as crowds grow from 0800, the admission of USD20 is not included, also stop at some photo stops and a walking tour of the Old Town, the guide Richard was very good

We had an in-depth tour of the canal and saw so much of the rest of the city as well. We saw many interesting sites. Javier was an excellent guide. Cheerful and ready to answer any questions and accommodate the group!

Richard was a great host. He provided a lot of interesting facts. He was very knowledgeable about timing of activities, so we got a chance to see everything desired. He was fluent in english and Spanish which made communication easy. He also interacted with all of the guest.
