Super fun experience and our guide Ivan was awesome. Total professional and really made the day a great one. That said here are few things you need to know! The adventure starts on the island of Lopud. We had to arrange our ferry ride to the island, which was not included in the price of the trip. Once you arrive, you sea kayak first. Make sure you have water shoes and a change of clothes. You get very wet! They will give you a wet bag to hold your stuff. Bring a backpack, sunscreen and a hat as you are on the water for a couple of hours! Wear contacts or bring straps for your glasses as there is always a chance you can tip your kayak! After you paddle to another island you transition to bike riding. It’s a beautiful ride but there are a couple of good size hills. It’s not flat! You stop for a nice lunch overlooking the Adriatic Sea and then it’s back on the bike and then back in the kayak. No skill is required but it was a workout!!

We went on the week-long Elafiti Island Hopping Sea Kayaking Tour. We were looked after for the week in every aspect, from the moment we left the airport doors on arriving, until we were dropped back at the airport doors a week later. Our guide, Borna, was wonderful and looked after us excellently throughout all of our kayaking trips as well as on our cycle ride and hiking excursions, and we always felt safe and in good hands with him. He was also great company, very knowledgeable about the islands, as well as life in general, and great fun to be with. We had an active week of kayaking, paddling almost 38 miles in four excursions accompanied by some cycling and hiking in addition. All of this took us to some really lovely places and it was well worth the effort. The days were busy and full, but we were well rested in our excellent accommodation and always ready to go the following morning. The programme was well organised and yet flexible enough for us change one of the days when the weather was too bad to kayak and we were able to move that day's activity to later on in the week. Whilst the programme was busy, it allowed for enough free time for us to do some things for ourselves and we felt like we had really had a holiday. Breakfast each morning was shared, out of doors, with our guide who prepared the breakfast for us and we enjoyed conversation and planning the days activity. Likewise, evening meals were spent in various lovely seafront restaurants where the food was excellent and we chatted over the highlights of the day. At lunch time we would stop at a suitable restaurant venue midway through our days paddle and again enjoyed food from an extensive menu. Ivan also shared the first few days as a guide with us and again was excellent company. He then attended to our every need throughout the week ensuring that ferry tickets, airport transfers and taxis, for example, were on hand as and when required so that our holiday went absolutely smoothly and totally stress free. This is an activity holiday and the stated 3 out of 5 activity rating is a fair reflection of what to expect. All of our kayaking equipment was supplied and we would recommend going for the full meal package, as we really wanted to be with the rest of our group in the evenings to enjoy the friendships we made throughout the week. We thought that the holiday was good value for money. In summary we agreed, we felt that the holiday was like spending a week with family, so much were we looked after in every way. This is a holiday we would definitely do again. Thank you, Ivan and Borna for making this a most memorable holiday!

What an excellent way to sample two stunningly beautiful islands! Our guide was excellent offering us many insights into the history and way of life on these very special places. It was good to combine it with great activities of sea kayaking and biking too!

Awesome active experience. My husband and I are both in our early 60s and moderately active. I wanted an excursion different from the other touring of museums and historical places that were part of our Croatian holiday. Z was an awesome guide and helped us feel safe and immersed in our kayaking and biking tour of the islands. I highly recommend this tour for those looking for beautiful views, active participation and quiet day outdoors and away from the crowds

Highly recommend this tour, as it is a great chance to explore the peaceful islands around Dubrovnik. Zvonimir was an excellent guide, providing everything we needed and leading us safely between islands. The lunch spot was fantastic, and we were able to visit a small beach after lunch to snorkle with fish. Overall, a fantastic day trip.

Great experience. The perfect amount of exercise while on vacation… Carlo was friendly and accommodating. The weather was better than expected and the islands were quaint.

Our guide Carlos is very patient with the group. It’s first time for all the members in the group . He gave us very good introductions. At the end we all had a great time .

Karlo was an incredible guide for the day. My friend and I booked late in the season (early September) and ended up getting a private tour! It was very fun and active, about a 45min kayak either way and 20 min cycle either way. Had the opportunity to relax on two for about two hours and had a delicious local lunch.

I met my guide Zee promptly at the meeting point as instructed and set off on the ferry for a memorable day of activities. I was lucky to have a private tour as I was the sole participant for the day and Zee couldn’t have been more helpful. I am 63 years old and reasonably fit, but not as young as I used to be! It was a pleasure to spend the day with this young man, who was professional, kind and patient and it was so nice to hear his passion for his country and pride in his heritage. The kayak safety briefing was thorough and all the equipment was in great order. The journey across to Sipan took about an hour but I wasn’t rushed and we were able to stop to rest when needed. The cycle ride was lovely and peaceful and we even managed a stop to pick wild peaches and figs. We bought picnic food in Lopud and ate it in the park while chatting and then headed for a fabulously cooling swim at a pretty bay. Zee had provided me with snorkelling kit so I was happy to spend some time enjoying the clear waters. The journey back to Lopud in the kayak was more difficult as I was quite tired but it was manageable and Zee made it easy for me to take my time and stop for a breather to enjoy the stunning views whenever I needed to. I had a wonderful, full-on day and would absolutely recommend it. Zee was a fantastic guide and made me feel very comfortable and was very encouraging.

Our guide Z gave us the most incredible day. My husband and I summed the day up into a couple words “deeply enchanting.” We both felt our souls had been cleansed from the experience. We got to know some deep history, soak in the local experience, and see enchanting places.
