A wonderful experience to view Dubai 2071. A new world of technology advances from energy and solar power and natural sustainability. I highly recommend this tour. Book early.

You really have to be into space and eco stuff to enjoy it. No interactive things . Mostly learning about DNA and eco stuff

Tickets were easy to get. Couldn’t find the barcode I needed but when putting my name in at the desk, she found them. You need to trade in the barcode for a wristband which then you use in the exhibit for interactive displays.

The ticket price is too expensive for this “museum”. Visitors may feel amazing when the museum was opened years ago, but after the rapid development of technology and AI in the last few years, everything show in the venue are just out-dated. To pay the same of even less we can surely see much more advanced and high-tech stuff such as robots and AI related devices. What we felt after the visit there is just a theme park, and you would be disappointed to pay for it.

While the building itself is impressive, much of the content inside relies heavily on standard LCD screens, projections, and passive storytelling from staff who's first language isn't English, so it's difficult to understand at times. For a venue positioned as a showcase of the “future,” the exhibits felt surprisingly conventional and lacked the level of interactivity or technological innovation you'd expect, the Dubai Mall has better optics/robots. Aside from a small robot dog demonstration in the waiting area, there was little that felt genuinely futuristic or hands-on. The concept and storytelling are interesting in theory, but the execution feels closer to a themed multimedia exhibition than a cutting-edge future museum. There's a big gap between expectation and reality, especially for visitors who plan their trip based on promotional materials and online descriptions. I shared this feedback directly with the museum immediately after our walk through and was disappointed to learn that no consideration for a goodwill gesture was offered, despite the concerns raised. I believe clearer expectation-setting and more transparent marketing would greatly improve visitor satisfaction. This may still appeal to visitors who enjoy conceptual narratives and visual presentations, but those expecting advanced technology, innovation, or interactivity should manage their expectations. We'd rather have spent our time/money on other activities in Dubai.

Sometimes you imagine how our future will be, how the world will change over, what will be the new technology and how can it can impact mankind. There are some answers to these questions, when you will visit this museum. It is not the normal museum where you will find historically significant objects like artefacts, artwork and documents, but you will find objects and technology that may appear in Future. The first impression of the shape of this building is like a dream frozen in motion, which is in the form of torus with window in the form of poem written in calligraphy in Arabic, about the future, written by Dubai Ruler. The museum has 7 floors dedicated to exploring the future of science, technology and innovations. It will take visitors on a fictional journey to the year 2071. It also had a 360 degree viewing deck offering dramatic view of the city. Overall a great experience and walking out, you don’t just see Dubai’s vision, but you will feel excited about what lies ahead.

Exhibits were akin to the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville. Not kidding. Outdoor architecture is the highlight. AI robot is underwhelming. Lack of oversight by staff will lead to you getting trampled within or between exhibits. Imagine 250 people fighting for a single Taylor Swift autograph. That was the AI robot.

The building is absolutely stunning piece of architecture, beautiful during the day and shimmering at night. It represents the best aspirations of the UAE and Dubai and their roles in an always changing world. The actual exhibits themselves are plagued by a similar issue that Disney parks face when trying to image “tomorrow.” That view keeps getting outdated. It’s all highly theoretical, so this is not so much a museum, but a contrived and structured simulation, one that first asks you to imagine that you’re traveling to a space station in the year 2071. You are supposed to select a job on the space station and then get your face scanned to envision yourself in a space suit. One just wants to skip ahead at that point, because this is something a high budget theme park can always do with more heart and story. Then there are exhibits about cities in the future, and how they might be designed. Energy crises and climate change are mentioned, but very superficially. Other exhibits focus on wellness, a floor with lots of sponsored and outdated “futuristic” technologies like the new Audi model (sponsored, I’m sure) and an AI robot that’s already been surpassed by all other AI technology. Overall, this isn’t a terrible way to spend a couple of hours, but given the cost don’t expect it to be a great value. The material won’t inspire much deep thinking for adults, and might feel mostly boring to kids.
