La Fortuna Skywalk: Mystical Mistico Hanging Bridges Tour

Wilbur was our excellent tour guide for this hike through the rain forest and across hanging bridges with spectacular views! At each notably interesting moment, Wilbur told a relevant story and knowledge share that showed a comprehensive understanding of the ecosystem and geography. Highly recommend this tour with Wilbur!

Group of 12, sandwiched between other groups of 12. Not a whole lot to see. You have to be really keen on hanging bridges to appreciate this expensive commercial tourism experience There are many more interesting things to see/do in Costa Rica

We did a guided tour (group not private) at 7am. So happy we paid for a guide - Naza was so great and knowledgeable and spotted wildlife that we definitely would not have without her! Only tip for anyone who gets hangry (like my 10 year old!) - leave yourself time to eat snacks before you go in as you can't take snacks with you. Because of the wildlife we saw, our tour lasted more than 2 hours and my son was struggling by the end (as hadn't had much breakfast). Beautiful place.

What a beautiful way to experience the rainforest! Our guide was amazing by giving us close-up views of the monkeys and so much knowledge about the rainforest.

What an amazing tour. My large family (5 boys ages 14-24 plus my 85 year old mom) spent a half day at the park. Our guide Ignacio ("Nacho") was fantastic. With a degree in wildlife biology he knew something about pretty much everything we were looking at. He was very helpful in arranging a shorter route for my mom and enlisted the driver to help with that. The scenery is jaw dropping and the bridges are fantastic. We got very lucky at the end and saw a large group of spider monkeys (at least 13) moving through the canopy right over our heads on the last bridge of the day. One even made a bridge with her body between two trees for a juvenile monkey to cross over on. What a special experience!

Enjoyable and fascinating hike through the rainforest and swinging bridges with many encounters with spider monkeys, sloths, vipers, unique birds, non-stinging bees and tarantulas near La Fortuna. Beautiful Arenal views and pretty waterfall. Juan Carlos is a passionate and engaging guide and transport was comfortable in small group van.

We did a self guided tour. The bridges were fun, some are busy and you don’t get much time for pictures. We had an 8 and 11 year old with us, and they were definitely ready for the hike to be over. I think it’s about 2 miles or so, up and down hills, so does require some energy. The drink hub has great smoothies, definitely recommend the soursop and passion fruit!!

The guide was great. Very knowledgeable about everything. We had a wonderful time. The scenery and wildlife was beautiful.
