Lovely yacht and great lunch but… 11 passengers, 5 of which were under 14 and only 1 crew member! One passenger brought 4 children, 2 of which were under 7. No safety briefing or any advice where life jackets were, very worrying as a super yacht sank off Sicily in the same week! The captain spoke english but as we were the only english guests there was little english spoken so we had little idea what we were actually looking at . Very , very disappointing day .

It was a wonderful daytrip with Manuela and Fausto (our very friendly crew). On Board Meals and Drinks were delicious and swimming / diving from the boat was so refreshing. In the end we were even sailing for 20 Minutes. Very inspiring. Thanks to Manuela and Fausto.

It's a day on the ocean, sailing along the Cinque Terre. The food was fantastic, and the skipper was friendly and knowledgeable. I got to take the wheel for a while. I genuinely don't know how I would improve the experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day on the beautiful sailboat. We motored when necessary and sailed when the wind allowed. We highly recommend it

Very nice visit to Cinque Terre from a sea perspective. The skipper was very careful to man the ship for good picture angles and provided us with good background information on Cinque Terre. Good lunch well suited to the cruise with appropriate beverages.

We spent the day with couples from all over the world sailing and enjoying the beautiful coast of Cince Terre. We are older and can't climb the stairs in the towns so it was a great way to see the area. Lovely lunch, and the staff was very nice.

Very well organised, everyone was friendly, weather was beautiful, food was good and the whole trip was amazing! Highly recommended, wonderful way of seeing Cinque Terre coastline.

Highly recommended. This was a highlight of a great week in Italy. Good directions / service, prompt and professional staff, GREAT skipper Gerry! Only 10 guests on a 42' boat felt spacious. Gerry sailed us to a different, very private cove for swimming and lunch because my wife and I were staying in the area he had planned to go and wanted us to see a different gorgeous spot. We swam in the crystal clear water while Gerry made us a delicious lunch. He never left our hands empty for long and was super knowledgeable, informative and chill. We hit the water by 10:15 and were out until 5pm. This was a great trip and a great value. If we're ever back in the 5 Terre, we would book this again, for sure.

Unfortunately there was not much wind that day so not much opportunity for sailing, just when leaving and returning to La Spezia harbour. The rest of the trip up the coast and back was motoring. Never mind, our skipper gave us a close up view of the Cinque Terre villages from the sea, and some interesting stories to keep us amused. Plenty of prosecco and beer for those who wanted it and a tasty antipasti picnic at anchor at Monterosso. A great way to get a perspective of the coastal tracks which we subsequently walked.

Departure point
The departure is at Assonautica dock (in La Spezia) at 10am. Please be there at least 15 minutes earlier. Exiting La Spezia Centrale train station, turn left, cross the roundabout and walk through the pedestrian place called Piazza Saint Bon. Enter the pedestrian road Via Prione and follow it until the end where you’ll meet the public gardens. Walk through it, you will get to the sea. Looking at the sea, you will have a white bridge on your right and the ferries’ dock on your left. Go left. Walk past the Cinque Terre ferries dock, and you will see a wooden structure with “Assonautica” written on it: enter and wait in the sitting area for Arcangelo, your skipper. It takes about 20 minutes walking from the train station to the pier.Return details
