Unforgettable Cinque Terre: Milan Day Trip to Coastal Italy

Lots of time on a bus, train, or boat. Very little free time. From getting up at 5am to meet the tour bus at 6:30, getting home at 8:30, a 14 hour at with barely 2 hours of free time.

This trip does the best it can if you only have one day. The boat gives you a good overview and gorgeous views and you get two brief stops in two of the towns. It would be nice to have more time in the towns but probably not possible without elongating an already long day. The tour operator was excellent. We ran into a problem with our bus and they scrambled and made the tour happen anyway although a bit later start. Kudos to them for making it happen!

The boat trip was cancelled and we spent most of the day either in the coach or on the local train. There was no resemblance to the expected itinerary and the whole excursion seemed to be thrown together at the last minute. Total of about 3 hours spent in 2 separate villages.

Awful..it was several different types of transportation and very little time in 2 towns of cinque terre. Only enough time in Montarossa to go to the toilette & have take out sandwich. Then another hour Monorola. This was not what I expected.

The tour company and guide was extremely good. We rated it low because of the total experience. We left the meeting place before 7am , got back at about 930pm and only stopped at one of the towns for about 2 hrs. We took the ferry both ways and not the train as advertised. There was a train strike in Italy for that day, but the local trains were still running so not sure why we didn't take it and stop at the second town. The sights from the water was pretty, but the ferry ride was extremely long going to the Town because we stopped at almost every port to let people on and off. The water was rough, so that was an experience. The ferry back from Monterosso only made one stop , which was much quicker . Overall we didn't think being in one town for 2 hours and seeing the other towns from the water was worth a 14+ hour long day. Again tour guide was very good and company did a good job.

Well organised tour. Mario the tour guide was very knowledgeable and amiable. Pablo the bus driver was a very good and safe driver. We had 2 hours in Monterosso which gave us plenty of time to explore. We enjoyed the walk down the hill to Manarola to catch the train. Very interesting tour.

Really enjoyed this tour. It was great. Our guide Mario was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a worry free experience. Highly recommend!

You get to see two village towns, monterroso and manarolo. The boat is contingent on weather in which case you will transfer by train. The coach was comfortable and well air conditioned.

The guides were great and they organised it well. The view and scenery were beautiful. The shops were unique and the train ride was pleasant. Worth to explore

Phenomenal experience from start to finish, food was fabulous, guide was great, free time slightly limited when u also need to eat.
