This tour went so far above and beyond my expectations. Jada our tour guide was some knowledgeable and fun to be around. We where blessed with amazing weather our 2nd day and we jam packed this so full. We started the day with the lovely Hairy Coos and by chance we ended the day with Hairy Coos. The accommodation selected was great for solo traveller. I will be back and asking for Jada to be my guide

This tour was absolutely perfect for a first-time solo traveler like myself who wanted to visit the highlands but wanted to feel safe with a group + someone else driving (will never get over the difference in directions on the road!). My guide, Gillian (I hope I spelled her name right!) was an absolute delight and kept the mood up all three days - a superhuman feat - and was even kind enough to gently modify our stops based on our interests. She was extremely knowledgeable and timely and took very good care of us. Not sure if the playlist is something Timberbush creates, or if it's driver-dependent, but the music she played for us was also wonderful as well. It can be a bit rough being on the road for hours, so definitely consider bringing dramamine if you're prone to carsickness, but time really did seem to fly by and the stops were perfectly orchestrated so I never got too antsy before we were all getting out and experiencing the beauty of Scotland again. Also love that they take care of your accommodations if you opt for it.

Great experience with Timberbush Tours. I am already talking about coming back to Scotland in a few months and I am looking forward to doing other tours with Timberbush. It's a long coach trip but that allowed us to see the Highlands in depth, definitely feel like I truly experienced the wilder parts of Scotland. It was foggy for half the trip but I like that. Totally to be expected in November but I think it added a layer of mystical, fairytale land to the sights visited. We picked the option of having Timberbush reserve our accomodation and we were put in the Tongadale Hotel. Really cute, local feel, warm and super central. I think we definitely got the best accomodation. The breakfast service was slightly slow for our early starts but there's plenty of the delicious cafes right across from the hotel. I recommend the Caledonian Cafe, we fell in love with the food and the staff. Of all the places we tried food in portree, there was not a single bad one. It was also very easy to pay for the admission fees to the Loch Ness cruise as our guide Neil took care of that for us. Definitely worth while doing, the boat ride itself is very relaxing. Neil was our guide. Really nice man, certainly very knowledgeable. I thought he was a very accomodating guide. He dropped us off at our accomodations or in close proximity every day and helped with suitcases. Driver-guiding isn't an easy task but it seemed very effortless to him. He was an extremely safe driver on some really narrow roads. The coach was also very comfortable. Comfy seats, nice and great sound system. There is also lots of legroom and overhead space. Very satisfied with this tour, so happy with our first visit to Scotland. Elisa from Eire🇮🇪
