Outlander, Royals & Rebels: Scotland's Unforgettable Journey

It was great to see the Castles they used for Outlander. There was one that we couldn't see, but we got to see another instead, so that was the best. They redesigned to be sure we had a great experience. Jamie was also the greatest guide. Super friendly and knowledgeable.

Interesting trip outside of Edinburgh to see countryside and Outlander film locations. Our tour guide Marty is an expert of the series! Really enjoyed the different locations we traveled to and felt we had plenty of time at each location

The tour is very complete, taking you to some of the important locations where the Outlander series was filmed, obviously those near Edinburgh. Castles and attractions are not included in the price. The guided tour by the young Scottish man wearing a cap and ear plugs made a 9-hour tour feel like half the time. He described each place in detail with admirable enthusiasm. Only someone passionate about the history of their ancestors could convey what this young man conveyed to us throughout the tour. Cheers mate!

I have ust returned from a 10-day trip to Scotland and Ireland. We over-booked bus tours (tip: don't have tours that are 10 hours long booked two days in a row, lol), but far and away the best tour we took was the Timberbush Outlnder and Jacobites Tour with Marty, who wasn't quite the perfect double for Jamie Frazier as he liked to claim, but had clearly done his homework. The Outlander references did not matter so much to our group as the historical sites, but clearly, Marty had read the reviews and did his homework. He also could give Stephen Colbert and John Oliver a run for their money, as he was a pitch-perfect comedian as well as knowledgeable tour guide. And, as one member of our company pointed out, he loved to roll his Scottish -rrs. What an absolutely wonderful day and well worth the price. A less than dazzling guide could not have done much damage because, well, SCOTLAND, but Marty was truly dazzling and wonderful and added much value to our trip.

Great tour and great guide Marty was incredibly knowledgeable and funny and friendly. Highly recommend this tour even if you aren’t an Outlander fan.

Jamie C was the perfect guide for the Outlander tour! Not only was he a knowledgeable fan of the show, he knew a lot about Scotland's history. My husband continued mentioning the rest of our week trip. "Remember when Jamie told us this?" 🤣

Linda was a knowledgeable, friendly, and fabulous guide for our tour! I did not envy her driving in the horrible weather but she was an expert! We enjoyed the sites we saw. Due to filming, changes were made and so we spent more time at Culcross than needed. We also were fighting Storm Any so the last several hours found us in less than pleasant weather conditions for sightseeing! The landscape was beautiful and it was fun to be on a bus with people from all over the world who enjoy OUTLANDER!

The price for the trip is worth it. We got to see a lot, but be prepared cause not all of the castles are free to go in side ……..
