Joshua Tree Hummer Safari: Epic Open-Air Desert Journey

This was an absolutely wonderful tour! I have done many tours and I have to say Austin was incredible! 100% would recommend! The open air hummer was the icing on the cake.

Adventure Hummer Tours were amazing! The guide was super knowledgeable and had impeccable taste in music. He drove us through most of the top spots and we parked and got out a few times where the guide brought us through small hikes or walks (beginner friendly). Our guide was also more than happy to take pictures for everyone in the group. He would stop and go back to help those on the tour that needed extra time hiking or climbing to make sure everyone was okay. The hummer was stocked with water, granola bars, extra blankets, and extra coats for everyone as well which was a great touch and super appreciated. Would most definitely go on this tour again and definitely recommended if you’re visiting Joshua Tree.

It was probably the best way to see the sites in the Joshua Tree National Park. We had Tom as our tour guide and he was very upbeat and personable. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to off path areas that were something one wouldn’t see without a guide. The vehicle was very comfortable as well.

We had a great time with our guide Tom in Joshua Tree NP! He shared lots of info about the flora and fauna found in this amazing region. Plus, there was plenty of time on the ground to hike some short trails, including climbing up to the "hot tub" for an amazing birds-eye view of the rocky outcroppings in this park. A great experience all-around!

Tom was a fantastic guide! Loved being able to enjoy the view as we rode through the park and the music was a fun bonus. Learned and explored more than if we’d done it on our own. Would recommend and would return!

We visited Joshua Tree with 2 adults and 3 older kids/teens. It was such an amazing time! Our guide (I hate I cannot remember his name) was so knowledgeable and had an obvious passion for Joshua Tree! He was nice enough to take lectures for those of us on the tour. We loved it! I want to go back to Joshua Tree.

Really great way to see Joshua Tree. I underestimated the wind from the open air Hummer. So glad I brought a sweater and the provided blankets were much appreciated. I should have worn sneakers/closed toed shoes but didn't realize would be doing some mild hiking. I made it but this would have been a nice suggestion.

This Hummer tour exceeded all our expectations! It lasted just over three hours, and was the perfect length. It felt long enough to really experience the park's beauty without feeling rushed, and my wife and I found it be an excellent value for what we got. Our driver Tom was fantastic. His genuine enthusiasm for Joshua Tree was contagious, and his overall knowledge of the park really hightened our experience. What impressed us most was how attentive he was throughout the tour, regularly checking in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. You could tell he truly loves what he does, and that made all the difference. The tour included some light hiking that took us to a few stunning viewpoints we never would have discovered on our own. These were definitely the highlights of our visit and gave us a real appreciation of the park's unique landscape. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area and If our travels bring us back to Joshua Tree, we'll definitely be doing this again.
