Mark was a great guide! Learned a lot had fun and it was a nice easy paced hike! We were worried it might be too hard but wasn’t at all. Got some great pictures!

Our guide was great! Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and equipped. Knew the best places all the way to the top for photos and never rushed at all. Don’t try and go yourself! For the price this is a must tour if you want to travel all the way to the top above the sign and understand the history of this iconic symbol. Try not to go when it’s too hot also unless you take appropriate screening and fluids, though as I say, our guide was well equipped. He even waited at the end to ensure our ride came. 10/10.

- Young children are welcome to join this hike tour; we recommend this tour for guests ages 6 and up. Children participating in the hiking tour should be able to hike on their own. NO STROLLERS! For children under 6, we highly recommend choosing the 90 minute option at checkout.
- NOTE: Meet your guide OUTSIDE by the long white gate where the trailhead begins; they wear a neon yellow Bikes & Hikes vest. Do not bother the people at the houses in this neighborhood.
- Please allow ample time for traffic (welcome to LA!) and for parking. There is free street parking at this location- please follow all signs.

Street Parking is generally plentiful, please read signs carefully. Please be aware that mass transit does not travel close to/from the meeting point. If you DO choose to travel via mass transit, both Google Maps and Apple Maps include public transportation options for the greater Los Angeles Area and can navigate to the closest stop near the meeting point, but you will need to use a ride share service to complete your journey there.
