Breathtaking Teotihuacan Hot Air Balloon: Pyramids at Dawn

I booked this experience for a private balloon ride with private transportation for my husband’s birthday and we had an amazing experience. The private transportation pick us up on time and waiting for us during the entire experience. The balloon experience was fantastic! None of us had ever been in a hot air balloon before, and this experience did not disappoint. They had coffee upon arrival and the check in was very smooth. The sites while in the air were unforgettable! I would highly recommend this. They also gave us mimosas when we arrived back on the ground! How classy! The only reason I didn’t give this experience 5 stars is because the breakfast buffet that we were taken to after the balloon experience (which was at a separate hotel close by) gave a few of us food poisoning. Less than ideal when you have many more days left in your vacation.

Everything was on time and well coordinated. We felt completely safe with our pilot. The drone video is a nice add on.

We had a wonderful time on our hot air balloon adventure and tour! The views from the hot air balloon were incredible, and all of the staff were very friendly and made us feel very safe. We enjoyed the delicious buffet breakfast after the flight and found the crafts demonstration very interesting. One of the best parts of the experience was the private tour of the pyramids. We learned so much from our guide and really appreciated having someone to answer all of our questions. Gracias for the great experience!

We took a passenger flight in a shared balloon followed by a tour of Teotihuacan with a guide. It was excellent. Communication of price, terms, etc was all clear and timely. The package included photos and videos taken by the Flying Pictures team. Our guide was knowledgeable and greatly enhanced our experience at the pyramids.

Carlos (driver) and Luis (Teotihuacan guide) were excellent. We were picked up on time, the drive was smooth, and Carlos was very hospitable. The balloon ride was a fun experience, felt safe, and we liked that we had the option of buying the drone and GoPro shots. The tour of the archeological site was short and not super extensive but it was enough for us. Luis seemed very knowledgeable and experienced. He pointed out stuff and shared context that we would not have been able to know if we did it on our own. Star is deducted because the breakfast at El Jaguar was very mid. We strongly suggest that the tour operator explore other options for food if possible.

Amazing experience! Loved everything about it but Marco was the icing on the cake. He went out of his way to make sure everything was great and took me on a mini tour of CDMX on the way back. Taught me things the natives I was staying with didn’t know! Thanks so much Marco!

Out of all the adventures we did during our Mexico/USA holiday, the ballooning day with Flying pictures was the best and amazing value. Transportation, breakfast, balloon trip, champagne, photos, videos, buffet lunch, shopping, and private pyramid tour all included. very professional company with no hidden costs (very unusual). Please do it if you are in Mexico City, you won't regret it.
