Akamas Odyssey: Blue Lagoon & Adonis Falls Breathtaking Tour

This jeep safari was amazing. Was taken to see the most amazing views of Cyprus. Definitely the highlight of my stay. The drivers of these safari's are a right laugh aswell.

Great day out with Ianni (apologies if I have spelt that incorrectly!) leading our party. The tour is exactly as described, with some bumpy parts when you travel to some of the sights, as the "roads" resemble more off-roading - but well worth it. Would highly recommend.

Booked the jeep safari for our final day in Cyprus for myself and my elderly disabled mum, having spoken to a lovely lady in the office regarding mums walking ability etc. Our guide was brilliant, not only with the knowledge and history of the areas covered, but also helping mum in/out of the jeep (she is paralysed on her left side) and an awesome amount of humour thrown in! Well worth the money as there’s no way I would want to take a hire car down some of those roads!

The sight seeing was okey. A few tgings felt like they were just random things that we lassed by and they added it to the list just to make it seem like we were doing a lot that day. Carride was uncomfortable, they could definitly fix the seats of the car and the seatbelts Main problem was that for some reason I was the only english speaker, everybody else was polish and so the tourguide only spoke polish, my lovely driver would translate, but he spoke barerly english. Eventhough he really tried and knew a bit. Do I feel really offended that the tourguide who spoke perfect english and had enough time left to also explain it in english, didn‘t wnat to. I paid for this tril just like everybody else. And nobody told me anything about the fact that I would be the only not polish on the tril. Very unprofessional in my opnion

The trip to Akamas was exciting and informative. We arrived at the pick up point at the given time of 8.30am and waited for over half an hour before the jeep arrived which made us anxious. The driver told us that the pick up time for that trip was always 9-9.15am. So there was a lack of communication there. Our driver, Sunny, was fun and made the trip interesting with humour and friendliness. The itinerary had changed and we didn’t go to the Lara beach to see turtles, but instead had a swim at the Blue Lagoon. This was exciting but we had to scramble down a steep rocky cliff to reach the beach. As a couple in our 70’s this was difficult. It would have been wise to have warned us about this beforehand! The other change to the itinerary was a stop at Latchi for lunch. Although it was beautiful there it would have been good to know this beforehand. Altogether we had an enjoyable day but in future the trip organisers should communicate with people more efficiently.

We had such a great time on our jeep tour. Our tour guide "Sonny" was great - informational, entertaining and really cared about us. Yes, it was EXTREMELY bumpy but when we stopped for photo opportunities and see the great views, it was all worth it. Really enjoyed our stop at Blue Lagoon for swimming. Please note, you have to climb down some rocks to get to the beach so this trip is not for folks with mobility issues.

Absolutely 100% recommend this tour for anyone looking to get the most out of Paphos and it's beauty spots. Received a call prior to pick up and the text message service in the app made us feel well looked after. Huge mention to "Sunny"/ Vassos who made the entire trip so full of fun and facts, he made us feel completely at ease and included the kids in all his talks and tales, even giving them their safari nicknames which made them feel a million. Really well thought out itinerary never driving for too long between stops and Sunny always made us feel totally at ease; letting us out for photos and experiences while staying with all the bags/ valuables. We felt completely free to enjoy every bit of our day. Amazing
