Had a great tour with Jan and Mr. Moon today. Everything was timely and seamless. The floating village was definitely a highlight, and so was the Kulen Waterfall. I would highly recommend this to any visitor coming to Siem Reap. Cheers!

I went for this trip with my friends and want thanks our tour guide Seila , was absolutely exceptional. Knowledge & Storytelling: Seila spoke excellent English and shared deep historical context not only about the sites but also about local Cambodian life and culture. They didn't just recite facts; they told engaging stories that brought the ancient history to life. Service & Personality: They were attentive, incredibly friendly, and ensured our comfort throughout the long day. From providing cold water and towels to knowing the best spots for photos and avoiding the crowds, Seila truly went above and beyond to make the trip personalized and enjoyable. We left feeling like we had a genuine connection to the local heritage thanks to their passion.

The tour was amazing ! Our tour guide Mr Try Dara our driver Mr Sophal were great! Everything was well planned and the day went smoothly. The Khulen mountain is so beautiful and the vegetarian lunch by the waterfall was amazing. The Tonle Sap boat tour was very interesting to see the floating village. I really recommend this tour if you want to have a great day in the nature surrounding Siem Reap with a great guide 😊

Our Trip yesterday was fantastic! The driver was really friendly and kind and made sure, that everything ran smoothly. Mr August was a perfect guide and explained us a lot about our stops and the cambodian roots, history, traditions and the connections to Religion and the role of the tourism and we were thankfull for all the insights he was giving to us! Also we enjoyed all the stops and the tasty picknick and everybody made the best out of it for us! We always felt looked after and cared for but also had enough time to relax and just enjoying the beautiful nature. So there is really nothing we could let you know for improvement because for us everything was perfect 🤗 Our kindest regards and thanks again to our Tour guide and driver and thank you again, that we were still able to get on this Tour (even without other bookings) - we were really happy and enjoyed the Day and for sure we will recommend this Tour!

This was the perfect day exploring a small part of the beauty and wonder of Kulen Mountain and a lovely floating village on Tonle Sap. We were lucky enough to have Jan as our tour guide and Theara as our driver, they did absolutely everything to make our trip comfortable and the detailed history Jan could give us at every stop and in between about Cambodia & Khmer Empire is truly an experience we will not forget. The great photos advertised for this tour are exactly what to expect, everything is so picturesque. This tour would not have been as lovely if it were not for Jan and Theara, so thank you again

The trip wasn't too long and contains great views. Mountain and water fall are stunning. Provide great guide with detailed Introduction, outgoing personality. Mr. Leap and Mr. Mony are really thoughtful, providing cool towels and water that helps a lot. 10 of 10 recommend to travel with them.

I had a excellent day, so much to see and do and Sotin was a excellent guide. The waterfall and swim was just what was needed on a hot day and the picnic of grilled chicken and jasmine rice was lovely . I would recommend to trip to anyone

Sotin is the best guide! He was funny, informative, and a great photographer. Always made sure everyone was taken care of and answered all questions. We got to enjoy local made cupcakes, and were provided cold water after every stop. We saw a lot but didn’t feel rushed. He let us stay at the waterfall until everyone was nice and cooled off. He got really excited about making sure everyone enjoyed the sunset. Even went out of his way to confirm with the restaurant what time I needed to be there so that I could get there on time. They dropped me off right there and I made it to my dinner/show. An amazing day!

Fabulous tour. Covered so much…palm cake making, had a lovely picnic at the waterfall. Fabulous views at the cliffs and Mony took lots of great shots for us. Then stilt village and temple on afternoon. The driver was great providing us with cold water and towels. I would definitely recommend…it’s a long day and a long way but so worth it

Booked to go on Full Day Kulen Mountain with Picnic and Tonle Sap Tour, however due to low numbers we were moved to another, slightly longer tour at no extra cost. Great. Logistically it was a slight fiasco before the tour started, with the re-arrange of the tour we were on, time of pick up, but that was the only negative comment I can make. I believe this could be purely a reflection on the office staff organising the tour and no reflection on the tour guide. Onto the good parts. We had Mr SA as our tour guide, who was brilliant from start to finish. Superb spoken english, good knowledge of the area, clearly loves his country and took care of us throughout. I did not catch our drivers name, but he was professional and helpful throughout the tour. Both very friendly. Highlight for myself was the waterfall which was incredible, even with an over enthusiastic local looking to soak you. I would go back in a heart beat. There are changing huts (it is a hut) and it’s worth taking a dunk in the water. Meal that is provided was delicious and is provided by a local woman, who is clearly a very good cook. A close second and third, would be the cliff top view and the palm cake (I think that’s the correct name…) which was outstanding. All in all, it was a great day out and I would happily recommend to friends to go if they are in the area. Just be aware, that the logistics or organising might be a little…chaotic, but with some patience and calm, they will sort you out, promptly.
- Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
- Not recommended for pregnant travelers
- Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Bring a swimming suite or towel if you take a shower at the Kulen waterfall.
- The end of March to the end of June is a crucial time in all the floating villages in Siem Reap, as the water levels start to recede and present a unique opportunity for tourists to experience a new perspective. Although the picturesque landscape of the floating community may lose some of its charm during this time, visitors have a chance to immerse themselves in the daily life of the villagers living in the dried season. While some boats may become stuck, and smaller canoes are unable to traverse the jungle forest, these challenges add to the thrill of the experience. The dry season in floating village of Kompong Phluk may not be the ideal time to visit for those seeking postcard-perfect photos, but it offers a chance to witness a facet of the village’s daily life that is not typically seen. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. We recommend visitors to embrace this rare chance to witness a different facet of this incredible destination and truly get a different taste of life in the village.
- For lunch, there is a vegetarian option like fried rice vegetable with eggs and fried spring rolls, but no vegan.
- Children are under 10 years old are not suitable to participate our small-group tour option.
