This tour is the best way to visit Sintra away from the crowds. You cycle through the mountains and discover some of the region’s secrets. The tour starts at the Rossio station, where we board the train to Sintra (UNESCO). First, we visit the town and stop next to the huge white chimneys of the Sintra National Palace, to taste the famous Sintra cheesecake. Then, we cycle pleasantly by the Regaleira Palace, the Seteais Palace and the Monserrate Palace. Lunch is in an unforgettable place for its uniqueness and price-quality ratio. Next, we have the option to travel to the magical Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. The view gets even more breathtaking when we reach the sanctuary of Peninha, from where we continue to the wild Guincho beach, where we have a break. Finally, we proceed to Cascais, a former fishing village, now an elegant Portuguese resort town, and ride along its magnificent bay on the dedicated bike path. The return to Lisbon is by train.

Fabulous day and intro to this amazing region! Biking, history, landscapes, seascapes, cozy restaurants, beaches and more!

It’s wonderful! Absolutely stunning scenery. From forests to beach—unbelievable! A couple of things to know: You will not go to the 19th century palace at the top of the mountain. You do get some views of it. The e-bikes are great, but be prepared to do some work going up the mountain.

Had an amazing day exploring Sintra and Cacais on easy to ride ebikes with breathtaking views and enjoying the fresh air. Daniel our guide was wonderful. He had so much knowledge of the area and made sure everything went smoothly and that we were provided with the best possible experience.

We had a great bike ride experience with our guide Jorge. He was very knowledgeable and made the day very enjoyable. He chose a wonderful lunch spot for our group! It was a hot day but he kept us moving and cool throughout the day!

We absolutely loved the bike tour, Ricardo was amazing. We never felt rushed or anxiety about anything we were doing. My husband didn't feel well halfway through the tour and he took care of him and made sure he was able to get back to our hotel so myself and my kids could finish the tour. The sites were amazing, he was so friendly and knowledgeable and taught us so much about the history of the areas that we saw. I highly recommend.

This was a great e-bike excursion! Our guide, Bruno, was attentive, knowledgeable and provided excellent tips along the way to help keep our trip safe and enjoyable. This was my teen son’s favorite day of our 2 week trip to Portugal. The bikes were in excellent condition and easy to operate. A great e-bike option to see a natural side of Portugal.

This was an awesome because it ended up being just my friend and I with the guide, Daniel. He showed us all the nicest spots and due to the very small group, just two of us, did other circuits like biking into a golf resort and instead of taking the train back to Lisbon, we got off at Belem and biked back to the initial meeting point. Stopping at a local worker's restaurant was a nice highlight; the food was great and traditional, typical of the area. Thank you, merci Daniel.

This was hands-down one of the best things we did in Portugal. Bruno, our guide, was fantastic! He was fun, informative, and knew when to step back and let us take it all in. The e-bikes made the uphill climb a breeze, and the route itself was incredible. We started with a quick bike ride trip to the Train Station, then off to Sintra (a UNESCO site for good reason). Once there, we biked through lush forests, rolled past palaces, glided over hills and sand dunes, and then hit the wild Atlantic coast. Stopping in Azoia for lunch and ending in Cascais was the perfect way to wrap up the day. Would highly recommend this tour to get a great overview of the countryside and really experience Portugal’s natural beauty from the seat of a bike.

This bike tour is absolutely amazing - the loop is such a fantastic way to see Sintra + Cascais & everything in between. Ricardo was the most amazing tour guide, he made our day extra amazing. Thank you!

Easily the highlight of our vacation! The scenery and architecture of Sintra, the coastline, and Cascais is mindblowing. Our guide was also excellent! All in all, probably the best bike ride of our lives. Highly recommended!
