Zakopane: Breathtaking Tatra Mountains Alpine Escape

The tour was great - would definitely recommend! The views were amazing and the town of Zakopane was very pretty. Was a whole day tour. Casper was our tour guide and was great. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun.

Booked a private tour to Zakopane,Tatra Mountains & Cable Car through Viator. Our friendly guide Jacob picked us up outside our hotel in Krakow. He was punctual, friendly, informative & made our whole day extra special. We weren't too sure what to expect, but we were blown away. Zakopane is stunning & Jacob took us to various spots along the way, which included cheese tasting, trying Polish vodka & looking at the old wooden village of Gubalowka and the Ski slope in Zakopane. Absolutely fantastic day, would highly recommend.

Brilliant day out and well organised. Fantastic communication and information from our tour guide Daniel. Very safe and comfortable journey, and would highly recommend. 100% glad we chose this trip.

Our third person was jammed in a tiny seat in the front between the driver and other passenger. Every time the driver shifted gears he hit the passenger’s leg. After this happen about 10 times he had the driver pull over and the passenger got out of the vehicle and Ubered back to the hotel. The driver kne nothing about the are or at least shared nothing. In the past I have toured with Aviator all over the world with nothing but praise for the. This was a terrible experience and our last. We should get a refund for 1 person!!! Poor decisions by the driver who had us stand on ice in busy parking lots while providing limited information. Safety didn’t seem to concern him in the least.

Our guide Milo arrived promptly to pick us up at our hotel. He was friendly and welcoming from the outset and immediately put us at ease for what was going to be a long day. Milo was very clear on the itinerary for the day so we knew what to expect. The knowledge he shared throughout the day was pitched at just the right level and was delivered with enthusiasm and humour where needed. We enjoyed all the stops, they were all so different. The highlight being Gublowka. The funicular ride to the top and the spectacular views were unbelievable. The mix of guided elements with Milo and free time at Gublowka and Zacopane was just right and the recommendations by text before we were set free was very helpful. Milo was a great guide and was very approachable and helpful all day. He obviously takes great pride in his job. All in all this was a very memorable day and we would highly recommend this excursion.

An excellent trip. Well worth the journey. It is such a beautiful place. Especially with the snow, it gave it a Christmas feel. Our driver Milo was excellent and informative and looked after us well. The vodka was delicious

I would definitely recommend booking when its snowing if you can - the mountain and buildings look so much more beautiful. Great experience with the tour guide, Daniel, very friendly with good advice on nice restaurants to eat at. Lasted a full day, being picked up at 8:45 and dropped off at around 18:30.
