Zakopane & Thermal: Transformative Tatra Mountain Escape

The best day just wish there was more hours in the day to spend in zakopane - our guide David was brilliant

What a great day picked up on time by our guide Gregory who was excellent, attentive and very helpful. Stopping at a couple of villages on the way to visit old wooden houses and taste the local sheeps cheese we made our way to Zakopane which is lovely and at the top the views are stunning. After this it was off to the thermal spas which was a great success at the end of a long day. Thanks again to Gregory and the driver for a great day.

Great day out. Very full on but so lucky to have blue skies and snow. Tom our guide was amazing. Best guide of any trip I have been on. He was knowledgeable, funny and could not do enough for the group. We had a fantastic day.

The whole trip went as expected. Being part of the festivities up in the mountains was something far better than we imagined. The cheese and vodka tasting was a lovely bonus. The thermal springs are something special. A must do trip. Tom was a brilliant guide for us.

What a great day . Tom was a fantastic host, very friendly, informative and helpful. He explained every part of the tour and gave us an insight into Polish culture too. Loved every minute of it. Best organised tour we've been on. You can ask Tom anything about the tour or anything else, like places to eat or go where you are staying, and he will help you.

We had a wonderful host David, well organised and efficient, the thermal bath was so relaxing and we loved the cheese tasting, would highly recommend.

Everything about the trip was brilliant. First stop in a village with beautiful wooden houses, we were able to go in one and saw all kinds of fascinating domestic artefacts. Next stop was the shepherd's hut where we tasted cheese and has several shots of locally produced cherry vodka. All so far in the mountain region where there was an abundance of snow but all roads were clear. On arriving at Zakopane we went up on the cable car, to the wonderful views of the mountains and the town below. We had lunch(not included) in the restaurant at the top before heading back down. The short walk onto the main street was surrounded by an abundance of stalls selling local crafts souvenirs and other wares. The Main street had more shops selling local wares and numerous nice looking restaurants. We had nearly 3 hours to complete this part. We then moved on to the thermal spa. Not sure how much if it was thermal spa, but lots of Jacuzzis, indoor and outdoor, swimming pool ,saunas plunge pools cafe and bar, the one outside right by a big jacuzzi. All worked well with an access watch type thing which gave you a dedicated locked, and you could use to pay for food and drink ,which you paid for when handing the watch in on exit. Our driver spoke good English and very helpful. Trip well worth the money.
