Breathtaking Slovenia: Lake Bled & Ljubljana Day Trip from Zagreb

What a fabulous day. Marko lead us on an adventure of history, culture and beauty. He shared many stories as we travelled, making the stops and travel well balanced and enjoyable. We learnt of the Croatian abs Slovenian cultural background and connection. Marko was an exceptionally great guide.

Pathfinder tours the best in Zagreb. Worth every penny we paid. Our guide IVA was extremely helpful throughout the whole tour, even her explanation about Ljubljana and lake, in detail. Highly recommended to other tourists, who wish to visit Zagreb from Malta like us :)

We had two wonderful Pathfinder tours from Zagreb this September 2025. The first tour was to PLITVICE and the tour guide was Marion and today it was Marco taking us to LJUBLJANA AND LAKE BLED. Both tour guides were amazing showing their knowledge, love for what they do making those trips unvelievable. We would rate both of them with 5 shining stars!. Congratulations to the pathfinder team! Our guide, Marin was very knowledgeable and very attentive to each of the customers. The time spent in Lubljana and Lake Bled was just about right.

Great trip with beautiful weather. Eva, our guide was fantastic, very knowledgeable and efficient. Lots of free time to take in everything. Ljubljana is a lovely town. The castle at lake bled is well worth a visit. Eva drove us up there first then after she drove us down to the lake, which was spectacular in the perfect weather. Not too crowded, no waiting to go up funicular, definitely a good time to go in September. Eva said in peak times it is much busier.

It was a tour to such a beautiful place, unfortunately it was such a terrible day with the rain, not just a sprinkle it was pouring all day long. The tour guide was amazing and it was still great to see Ljubljana but Lake Bled in that weather was such a waste of time. Our tour guide was fantastic and did everything to accommodate the weather so we could still have a great time. No one can control the weather and it’s no one’s fault but when the weather is predicted to be that bad maybe it should be canceled

We loved the tour! Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we had rain the whole day and even with the rain we were able to enjoy the tour 100%. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend!

It was a great day! Lake Bled is accidentally beautiful! Marin was a terrific tour guide! He was friendly and gave lots of information and suggestions.

I was the only person booked so I got picked up by a different tour company with a similar itinerary. Mario our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of interesting information about the places we visited and about Croatia / Slovenia in general. The tour was well paced and liked that we were a small group. Great day out and beautiful scenery.
