Be prepared to walk on two of the stops. Fourth stop unavailable. The bus driver made us get off and go pick up another group while we waited 3 hours. No where to sit unless a cafe or restaurant.

The tour was listed to be @6 hours and ended up being closer to 8 hours, so plan accordingly. Zaanse’s Schans was beautiful and the clog making demonstration was interesting. There are opportunities to tour the windmills but there really wasn’t enough time at this stop. Edam was a very cute town to dine and shop but our tour just walked through the town. Anyone who stopped or was slow was left behind. Volendam was a nice scenic stop for lakeside lunch but mainly shopping and this was where the tour stayed the longest. Marken was canceled due to road closures.

Great tour. Our guide, Holly, was very knowledgeable, friendly and fun as was the driver, Carla. Would recommend this tour to others.

Check in the morning of the tour is confusing. States be there 15 minutes before tour leaves. I advise 30 minutes before. 4 full busses left and 4 people were checking them in. Took 30 minutes and we did leave 15 minutes late. No quiet boxes used. Verry hard to hear the very interesting things our tour guide was telling us We were looking forward to Marken. That part of trip was canceled due to road construction that would cause time shortage. We did not receive any notification of the cancellation despite the guide saying we should have. I booked this tour after this leg of the tour was cancelled. We were not told of this when I booked, if I had been I would have looked for a tour with another company that did go to Marken . The canceled trip to Marken did make up for the late departure. Our guide was excellent. None of these issues were caused by him .

An enjoyable low key way to see the countryside outside of bustling Amsterdam. We had a wonderful guide and the day was beautiful.

Due to a road closure we skipped a town which was probably for the best. Each stop was unique and we weren’t rushed or bored so the timing was right. Eduardo was a solid guide with good information and a nice personality.

The itinerary was as expected and goes where all the other tourist buses go. The driver Don did a good job and felt safe. The english speaking guide Amanda was friendly and helpful. We couldn't go to Marken due to roadworks, but that gave us extra time in the other stops so we didn't feel rushed.

The tour was ok. We got to see the towns, clog factory, and windmills from the outside. The cheese factory in Edam was nothing more than a commercial stop. The tutorial on cheese making lasted 60 seconds. It was all about selling the product. At the windmills you have to pay €7.50 per person to inside. There are two you can pay to see inside.

It was a very well organized tour. We got to see beautiful places outside of the city and our tour guide was very informative. You can stay with the group at each destination or venture about. We loved it and would go again!
