Breathtaking Chitwan Safari: Jungle Tower Night Adventure

A well-organized tour all round, you don't have to worry about a thing. The hotel was great, clean rooms, friendly staff, good food, and a pool to cool off in. The tour guide was very attentive and enthusiastic and spoke good English. The travel time was supposedly not ideal due to the tall grass, but we still saw some rhinos, deer, crocodiles, and civet cats, among other things. The highlight was Tower Night. A visit to the elephant training center was optional. We've got a taste for it now, so next time we'll take a longer tour in the winter months!

Even off season it was beautiful! I personally prefer seeing nature lush and green and the bonus was i was alone in the hotel, no jeeps lining up behind you! I had the tower to myself, few rhinos and a civet came over and probably many more animals but went to sleep hehe! In total i saw at least 13 rhinos, i saw all the deer species, plenty of birds, tigers , leopards and sloth bears however impossible to see in the tall grass but it was fine! Dipendra from Welcome Nepal Treks was in contact with me constantly was taken to the tourist bus stops for the transfers! Booked two safaris , the first one individual was great and we took our time but the second one was shared and a bit rushed but its like that when theres many people. The hotel was ar the edge of the forest with sounds of nature and the pool was so refreshing in the hot weather, food was delicious too in the hotel! Definitely recommend

We loved the safari - it’s a very low key unspoilt national park. The guides are all lovely and want you to have the best time. It’s not teeming with animals but it’s beautiful and peaceful. We were lucky - we saw 2 rhinos v close which was incredible. Loved the canoe ride, bird walks and jeep safari. We did the forest tower which was great fun tho we saw no animals as it started raining. Hotel is good - quite old style but v comfortable, v clean and v good buffet food. Overall a fabulous 4 day trip from katmandu.

The safari lodge had delicious food ( veg & non veg). The rooms were good we enjoyed the pool. The highlight of the trip was definitely the tower night were we saw lots of animals including 2 rhinos who stayed within sight all night. The canoe trip we saw crocodiles and again on the jeep safari we were lucky to see a few rhinos up close. Sigar our guide was great and we managed to see a wild. Bull elephant on the last day. I can totally recommend this trip. So many fun memories.

I cannot recommend this enough! The tower stay was a highight: We hiked through the forest with our guide, Sana Lam , a guide from heaven! He knew every bird by sight and sound, was solicitous and helpful when i go too hot. He knew so much about every animal, each bird, and their habits. Picnic dinner in the tower was delicious. The night in the tower was amazing as we saw so many animals, rhinos, sloth bears, even a civet cat. We had delicious dinner, mosquito nets to protect us, plumbing.. glamping to say the least. I wish we had had more days there! On the nights we weren't in the Tower, we stayed at Safari Adventure Lodge in Chitwan. The lodge was beautiful, staff friendly, food excellent. it could not have been better. The Jeep tour through the park, and our river canoe tour were filled with animals and great guides. Welcome Nepal Tours picked us up from our Kathmandu hotel. got us on the tourist bus. Their rep met us at the other end in Chitwan and coordinated again for the return to Kathmandu. Very helfpul! No worries! My only regret was leaving!

The journey was ok very bumpy road The Adventure Safari lodge was ok. The manager is piss me off they changed our itinerary and they ask us to get out from our room early so thier can get it ready for next guest. Which was frustrating as I needed my sleep before going to the tower night. I ended up sleeping on the chair in the reception. Once back from tower the next morning he promised we will have access to a room so we could shower before the long bus ride back to Karhmandu. But on the day he told us to use swimming pool shower. That's is insulting to ask your paying guest to shower in the comon area. I have to demand for room we were promised so we can have proper shower. The rest of the hotel staff were lovely, including all the guides and restaurant staff. The manager need to learn how to manage bookings better when the hotel is over booked. The coffee machine for breakfast takes a long time so I think they need to change the way to service the coffee especially in the morning. 5 stars for the the restaurant staff. ZERO for manager.

A great experience. The tower night stay was fantastic, a must for any avid wildlife watchers. The canoe ride was also fantastic, great to be at the same level as nature. The room was fairly small, though the food and service at the safari adventure lodge were fantastic. Beware that the itinerary is not exactly as stated and depends on what the hotel has scheduled. Would recommend!

Wow what an experience this is! Amazing! From pick up to drop off was really good. My partner and I are a backpacking and we faced a problem meaning we needed to change the day of our trip. We asked if we could do it a day earlier 48 hrs before the original date and there was no issues. We were picked up in a car at 06:20 and dropped off at the bus. Bus journey took roughly 7 hours. It was difficult at times due to the road conditions. We arrived at our hotel and were greeted by several staff members. Lunch was waiting for us. The 4 day plan was explained to us. The whole 4 days were great. We were asked during the jungle walk if we wanted to go to the elephant breeding centre they explained a lot of people don’t want to and that’s why it’s optional. We decided not to due to the conditions of the elephants habitat. I will leave a separate review of that awful place as this is not included in this package. The guides were very understanding of our decision. The guides tried their best to give us the best experience. The jungle tower night stay was good. Unfortunately due to weather conditions we couldn’t see much but that is not anyone’s fault. Over the 4 days we seen plenty of rhino, crocodiles, monkeys, deer, birds, buffalo and much more. The food in the hotel was a little over whelming. One morning we were offered 6 courses for breakfast. The staff in the hotel are amazing. They are forever topping up your water at meal times and nothing is ever to much for them. The hotel also leave you bottled water daily outside your room. We had the best experience, up close with rhinos ( unexpectedly ) and the staff handled this situation perfectly! Overall defiantly worth the money! Thank you to all staff who made this trip as good as it was! From managers, guides, guards, drivers and cleaners! It was amazing!

Chitwan ist a must have seen place in Nepal. The Tour is good organized and the friendly guide knows all about the national Park, plants and animals. The comfortable tower ist the best chance to see wild animals at night. Recommendation for this tour.
