We were the only ones on our tour and were able to get a customized experience as a result. Our guide, Eduardo, was knowledgeable and took us to a market where we sampled the local fruits. We didn't want to eat at any of the tourist traps, so he suggested we eat local foods from some food stalls where a festival was being held. It was perfect and just what we wanted. He was also our cameraman and videographer, which was super helpful. Highly recommend this tour!!

Adonis was my driver and was very punctual! He told me I was the only person on the tour which was great! We set off and did the typical route backwards as there was a special festival. Adonis was super knowledgable and friendly, we discussed many things about the country plus in general! We managed to visit all 5 of the towns and stopped to view one of the Mayans scared trees. This trip felt very laid back but also very informative so a wonderful balance! I felt lucky that Adonis was my guide and cannot recommend him enough!

Adonis was an incredible guide for our tour. He drove us through mountain towns to the El Carmen coffee plantation where we had a tour of the coffee making process. The tour ended with a tasting and an opportunity to buy some coffee. Along the way, Ado was very informative, answering our questions and sharing information about the country and the people. He speaks English very well and was very patient with us if we wanted to spend more or less time somewhere. Would highly recommend this tour... but recommend leaving from San Salvador vs a beach town since it can be a longer drive.

4 was too many stops. The tour guide only had anything to say at the first stop. The second one he read some information off a sign but other than that was just along for the ride. After the second stop I was ready to go home. To me was a waste of a day of vacation. Would have been okay if it was half a day but a whole day was not worth it. The group I was with shared the same opinions.

This was a 9 hour trip. It should probably be a 4 or 5 hour trip. The 3rd village (the farthest one) is the nicest and 2 villages are more than enough. It shouldn’t be described as a coffee plantation trip as it’s misleading. You stop at a plantation, get out of the car see it and come back. 5 minutes of the 9 hours. No meaningful historical or cultural explanations.

What an enjoyable, fun and informative tour! But, above all, the thing that made it superb was the care and knowledge by our tour guide, Raul. He was phenomenal, kind and, I swear, he knows all things! Our lovely chariot was led by our driver, Pedro, who took us all around very safely. My family had so much fun and we now know so much more about this wonderful country. The tour was perfectly paced with a great lunch and many shopping and cultural opportunities. Not only was Raul extremely knowledgeable on historical facts, but he was an excellent photographer for our family, even climbing up on a railing to get the perfect shot! Book this trip. And ask for Raul. You won’t be disappointed.

Might not be for everybody but our tour guide made it worth our while! We visited a few villages around Ruta de las flores and every place was gorgeous but without any additional experiences it could be a little boring: get to a place, see the main square and a church or two, leave. However, our tour guide gave us options and we got to decide if we wanted to also visit a coffee factory, and we did, for me that was one of the highlights of the tour. The place we were taken for lunch was another highlight: great view and delicious food with creative local names! Also the souvenirs in the towns we visited were amazing and very cheap, I got adorable earings with real roasted coffee beans for a price close to nothing! All these experiences wouldn’t be possible without our tour guide Miguel because he knew exactly where to take us to have the best time!
