We signed up for a 4 star hotel. We did not get it. I was the same hotel as those that signed up for a 3 star hotel. The food was not good and was more of a 1 star instead of 4 star food. 2 of the nights we had to stay in separate twin dice beds. Definitely not a 4 star room. We were very disappointed on this. However the tour guide was great. Don't pay for a 4 star option when you are really getting a 2 star stay

Our tour guide was Thomas who was very passionate about the history of all of the places we visited. He was extremely knowledgeable on ancient history. Kosta was our bus driver who handled the bus with such accuracy especially in tight situations. There is a lot of walking and stairs to see the sites. The 4 days, 3 night tours were so informative. The accommodations were great we stayed in a different Amalia Hotel each night. The grounds on the properties were very nice. The buffet suppers and breakfasts had a lot of variety.

It's an extremely educational/intellectual/informative tour. History, architecture, art, mythology, Small children would not appreciate it, but kids that are into mythology LOVED IT!!

Our hotel in Athens City Centre was fortunately close to the Fresh Hotel which was a pick up point for this Tour so we were picked up at 7.35 am. There were also guests picked up at the Dorian and Amalia Hotels. The Actual Tour departed for Mycenae at about 8,30 am. Our Guide was extremely knowledgeable and really the whole tour and the places we visited were great. Breakfasts and Dinners were included at the three Amalia Hotels we stayed at over the three nights four days of the Tour. The meals are all Buffet Style which is fine and there seemed to be enough variety to satisfy everyone on our tour. Lunch Stops were pre-arranged at various Restaurants as we bused around. It would have been great if they were able to co-ordinate for everything we ordered to be hot. At one we got Hot Potato Chips with cold Meat, the next was Hot Meat with Cold Potato etc. It is hard as there are a lot of Buses basically following each other to the various Historical Sites and subsequently the Lunch Restaurants. So the lunch restaurants often get an influx of a large number of guests at one time. Our driver George was great. He kept us all safe on some narrow winding roads and he should definitely be commended. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the Monasteries at Meteora and of course the Home of teh Ancient Olympics should be experienced by everyone. All up a great guide, a great driver, good company of other guests and a worthwhile tour. Have Fun!!

Very well organised, 4 star Hotels amazing. Sophia the travel guide and Socrates the driver were amazing team and very thoughtful. Lunch restaurants had a good choice of food and dinners were buffet, as was breakfast.

It was all and more. Our tour guide Eugenia was amazing, and our driver Nikos was excellent. Everything went like clockwork. The sites visited and the information provided by Eugenia , there are no words to describe it.

We loved the amount of information we were given on the bus and the tours of the various places. Definitely worth the investment in learning about Classical Greece.
