Bring flip flops and towel and robe or you'll need to rent them. I loved this unique experience. So many pools and variety of temperatures to choose from

I would have purchased the package including towel, flip flops etc for a bit more…and brought something warm to wrap in this time of year. It was lovely to be in the outdoor pools as well as the saunas and indoor pools. We did them all and spent 6 hours there! The Gastro Cellar is also worth the visit for great tasting Hungarian wines and we also had a delicious meal there. They had gluten free options.

The place is so packed you are shoulder to shoulder to other groups. The indoor pools were so loud you couldn't relax. Warmest pool is 38 Celsius.

The experience in the Szencheyi Bath is a given, it's fun, exciting and memorable...my review is about the bonus wine tasting at the Hungarian Gastropub Cellar, located within walking distance of the city center, the place is fantastic, medieval vibes in a modern setting....the wine is also well balanced with its distinct aroma and flavor...the servers were also very welcoming and kind...overall worthy experience on and off the Bath.

This was a great place to spend some time relaxing & chill time after touring around the city. We had a cabin which we can recommend.. We were able to leave on belongs in there & not have yo bag them up & then bundle them into a locker. The saunas & steam rooms were good & didn't get too overcrowded. The pools outside were lovely & warm & we had so much fun in the lazy river. One of the inside pools looked green but think it was mainly due to the tiles (not the water) & temperature only 28° , hence why you would think it was dirty so no one went in it. Definitely a nice place to go. It wasn't just about the spa it was the history & the architecture of the place too, so incredible that it is still around today & functioning.

A thoroughly pleasant experience, soaking in pools of varying temperatures and steam rooms of all varieties. Left feeling most invigorated and refreshed. It would benefit the venue to use numbered wristbands and allow people to keep a tab when buying refreshments, as all sales at the venue are card/cash and most will leave these in their lockers. Remember to take your flipflops and towel with you, or you'll have to buy them - they aren't included.

The thermal spa was as expected reading other reviews. Advice: Take your own towels and slippers because they will not let you in without. Therefore you have to buy the overpriced towels/slippers in the spa shop.

Smelly indoor pools. Just really old and tired - would never go there again. Really expensive too!! Not worth the money.

Overrated. Its crowded, dirty, and the assistance is not friendly or helpful. Nothing was pointed out to us or any explanation given as to procedure and or what was offered . People blowing their noses in the water, couples all over each other....rather a grim experience .

- It is forbidden to wear swimsuits covering the full body.
- Spa is not recommended and massage is not available for pregnant women
- You must have flip flops to enter the spa (street flip flops are not allowed). It is possible to buy them at the venue.
- The outdoor swimming pool can only be used in swimming cap which is possible to purchase at the venue.
- IMPORTANT - Széchenyi Spa and GastroCellar are two different venues. You will not recieve the gratis spirit drink in the spa. You will recieve it in the center where the GastroCellar is located (Király street 20.)
