Athens Full Day Private Tour

Our driver, Dimitris, was excellent. He drove us very nicely, not like a taxi driver, to all of our tour destinations and gave us very informative points about all of our stops, then he would drop us off with our tickets and let us explore the sight while waiting to pick us up and take us to the next sight. The day went just as we planned and the timing was spot on. Dimitris gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner, even drove us by since it was only 5 min walk from our hotel. We were traveling with our two 17 year old grandchildren all were pleased, with one exception, four people in a 4 door sedan was a little cramped on a hot July day in Athens. The car’s AC worked but does not cool the back seat passengers so well.

10 out of 10! Our guide Pantelis was fantastic! He had a great itinerary laid out with pick/up drop zones. He was easily reachable via whatsapp. We loved his energy and enjoyed the conversations about life in Greece and the culture. Bonus was lunch at a local lunch spot in a bustling little neighborhood! The beer was nice after a warm morning outside. Advice would be to book on Saturday as the roads are less congested and you are able to see more. Our stops included: Parliment changing of the guards, the balcony-St George Church, Acropolis, Agora, lunch, Plaka, Acropolis museum, Olympic venue. Book this and you won’t be sorry! Ask for Pantelius!

Our group of 11 had a wonderful time seeing the amazing sites around Athens. Tolis, our guide and driver, was knowledgable, friendly, and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

If you are looking for a tour that hits the highlights of Athens, this tour is a must. My husband and I were only in Athens for a couple of days, and this tour helped us in seeing all of the historic landmarks efficiently and comfortably. Our tour guide, Manos, was super friendly and knowledgeable. He was patient and kind and moved flexibly for us and the small group. There was a total of six of us, making the experience personal and intimate. There was a good balance of time outside walking in the heat and air conditioned touring of the city.

This was the best tour of any city in Europe we did. Our driver Dimitrious was as amazing! So knowledgeable and friendly! We would do this again if we knew we had him as a driver/guide. Thanks so much for everything!

This tour made getting around Athens and into the top sites very easy! Our driver/guide contacted us the day before about pickup (just confirming) which made us feel comfortable going into the day. We had a group of nine and we fit comfortably in the minibus. Tolis was the best driver we had during our Greek experience navigating his way through the tight streets and chaos of Athens traffic. He drove us as close as he could to each site, gave us directions for when we got in and picked us up from the same spot each time. Enough time was given at each spot to see everything it offered, even with the crowds. Water was offered more than once which was fabulous in the heat! You can download an audioguide on your phone for the Acropolis museum but need to bring your own headphones :)

Perfect excursion post cruise, especially if flying out the next day Our tour guide was fantastic and showed his love for his home country by sharing the history and historical landmarks.

My experience with this tour was excellent! We started off the day by meeting our Tour Guide Dimitrios, who was very nice and knowledgeable, and our driver Harry, who was very nice and offered us waters on a very hot day. Dimitrios made sure we weren't stuck in one place for too long, but still had enough time to enjoy the views, learn the facts, and take our memorable photos (he took some for us as well. We had the option near the end of our tour to visit a museum or walk through a nice part of town, we listened to his recommendations and he offered to help lead us through the very straightforward streets incase we were worried. He is also a genuine guy to talk to about modern life in the city! All in all I would say this tour guide is worth every penny! As for Harry, in the last 2 weeks I have spent in Europe, I have not felt more safe than with this driver. We were in a very comfortable car, and he was a kind man who asked how we enjoyed everything and helped my wife and I with our doors. The company was kind enough to make a pit stop close to our Air BNB to help us grab our luggage if there was allowable time, and Harry helped us load and unload this luggage in the car as well! Again, this driver was worth every penny. I feel as though the people from this tour were very genuine and comforting to talk to! Also the lunch was delicious.
