Best of Athens Half Day Private Tour

This was a wonderful way to see the major historical sights if you have limited time in Athens. Our guide, Jimmy, was terrific in every way—knowledgeable in the way only an insider could be, professional, kind, and responsive. After arriving to the changing of the guard just one minute early, Jimmy had a trick that resulted in us getting a front row viewing position. He aims to maximize his clients’ time and experience and we are grateful that he cared so much. Could not recommend him and this tour more.

We took the half day tour of Athens and our tour guide Dallas was amazing. He was good with the kids, he showed us the best places. Not only the spots that were advertised but also spots only the locals know about. The meal that was included was at Theodores grill and it was delicious. We got there and everything was brought out at the perfect time and it was all local greek food. I would highly recommend this tour. My whole family had a good time and I saw things that I will remember for the rest of my life.

We had a very inclusive day of many of the Athens sites. Our guide was so excited to share his city and country with us. We visited the Acropolis and had time to climb to the top and enjoy seeing Athens from above. We were lucky enough to catch the changing of the guards. We saw the first Olympic stadium and so many more sites of Athens. The best part was the amazing authentic Greek meal at a family restaurant. The food was plentiful and so very good. It was a wonderful day in Athens.

What a great trip in Athens! Our tour guide Yianis Pappas was amazing, very knowledgable, cared about us as customers and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. This is definitely value for money.. advertised as a half day tour you definitely get to see everything you need without feeling rushed. We came on the Easter Monday so traffic was quieter than normal, the tour picked us up from the port and brought us back. We would advise trying to get to the Acropolis first thing AND take the option from this company to get the pre booked tickets because otherwise the queue is HUGE! This company communicated well, always replied to messages. We finished the tour with a trip to their restaurant and had a traditional Greek salad and meze meat board. Antony made this guided tour of the city compelling. He had pictures of the ruins in their original state which brought them to life. His commentary was colorful and command of English great. His willingness to show us anything we wanted to see in the time allotted was great (prepare a list!) We felt like we really got a great taste from a local about living currently in Athens and what it was like in antiquity. Antony was great!!! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Dallas. He provided lots of knowledge about Greek history as we visited each of these sites and Athens. He was a fantastic host at the end of the day we visited a traditional Greek café called Theodore. The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed spending our time with Dallas and would highly recommend him.

We had an incredible private “Best of Athens” tour with Mike! He picked us up directly from the airport with true white glove service, making our arrival in Greece seamless and stress-free. From there, Mike guided us through Athens with warmth, expertise, and so much passion for his city.
