The Best Athens Small-Group Shore Excursion from Piraeus Port

It is a good tour. Be sure to see the acropolis. I could have done without the Olympic arena. The changing of the guard was a good treat. It would have been nice to have the opportunity to see Zeus’ temple.

Small group of nice people is worth to travel, the guide was very nice & helpful, don’t have time to explore the place, long line to the bathroom, & has to climb a lot of steps

This tour was amazing! We got to expierence the best of athens in such a short time, and it was truly a unique expierence. If you want a longer, more in depth tour of Athens then this is not for you whatsoever. But, to see and experience the best athens has to offer then this tour is for you. It’s short and sweet, and the guides were spectacular. The tour guide was personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. She spoke English fluently, and was easy to understand. The tour stops were amazing and took us to all the places of interest we were hoping to see. The minibus was brand new and very comfortable. We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn all about the area and traditions!

Athens is undeniably stunning, and this tour did offer a glimpse into its rich history and vibrant atmosphere. However, the overall experience felt quite rushed. We had only one hour allocated for both lunch and shopping, which didn’t leave enough time to enjoy either properly. Another issue was the pacing and consideration for the group—about 90% of the passengers were over 70, yet the tour didn’t seem tailored for an older crowd. The guide, while polite, didn’t seem experienced in handling a group with specific mobility or pace needs. The microphone system wasn’t working well, making it hard to hear the commentary, which was frustrating. We also had to request water, even though it was advertised as included. Several landmarks, like the library and other beautiful buildings, were only driven past with no time to stop or take photos—missing out on what could have been some real highlights. Athens itself made the day memorable, but the tour logistics could definitely be improved for comfort, clarity, and a more relaxed experience.

Loved loved loved this tour. Our guides were fabulous. They kept us laughing the whole time. We learned so much about the history and local customs. Plus we were able to have some free time to shop and get some authentic greek food. Highly recommend!

This was a pretty good tour. When I booked it, I did so because the description led me to believe that it might be a decent tour with less walking for those with mobility issues. That was not the case. There is still lots of walking uphill and stairs. Just know this going in. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very nice and friendly.

Very well organized tour of Athens. The guide was so informative at the Acropolis and also made sure all people in the group were able to keep up on the demanding pace to walk to the top. She took several breaks in shady spots to help ease the heat of the climb to the top. The bus tour part of Athens was very informative also and we made 4 additional stops to see the city. Great tour for the price paid.

We booked this Tour for a group of six friends. What an amazing experience. The driver picked us up at the cruise port in a beautiful van and drove us around the city . They dropped us off to see some amazing sites like the Parthenon and the Olympic Stadium. Tour guide Evangelo provided detailed information to truly understand the historical aspects of Athens. At the end of the day, they dropped us off at the airport to catch our flight with a surprise gift to remember this beautiful city . Overall no complaints would definitely book this tour company again. felt safe and at ease. Thank you!!
