Apostle Paul's Greece: Private Spiritual Journey & Canal

Nikolaos was a wonderful driver for our trip in Ancient Corinth. We saw everything we wanted to and learnt a lot from his knowledge as well. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

I can’t say enough good things about our experience with our tour guide Jimmy on our “Footsteps of Apostle Paul” tour. Jimmy was waiting for us at the port and was easily visible as soon as we got off our ship. He walked us over to his comfortable and clean van where he had cold waters waiting for us. He got us on the road but made a quick stop for a nice treat of delicious cappuccinos at his favorite local coffee house. Jimmy was knowledgeable on the area and was able to give us background information on Athens, Corinth, and the Apostle Paul! He even brought a really interesting book that showed what areas would have looked like historically vs what they look like today. Jimmy let us go places at our own pace and was always waiting to greet us with a smile and a cold car and a cold water when we finished touring at each location. We were traveling with our three children ages 15, 13 and 11. Our oldest was excited when Jimmy took us to AcroCorinth because he had been learning about that in the book of Acts. On another note, Jimmys driving was smooth. As someone prone to car sickness I was thankful for that. I felt comfortable driving with my family around a foreign country in Jimmy’s care and I highly recommend this tour.

Nikolas was a great tour driver. He was early to pick us up. His car was very clean and comfortable. He drove well and had a good knowledge of all the sites on our way to Corinth. It was well worth the day out. Thankyou Nikolas.

When we knew we were stopping in Athens on our cruise, we wanted to experience both the places the Apostle Paul visited in Corinth and the sites of Athens. After some looking, we found Greece Taxi. They did a great job helping us plan our visit. On the day of the tour, Christos picked us up right on time and had a great plan for the day. We would see the Corinth Canal and Corinth first then see Athens in the afternoon, to ensure we didn’t have any challenges getting back to the ship. Christos did an amazing job and made the tour even more special by showing videos about ancient Corinth on the drive, giving us maps and books describing the history of the places we would be visiting, giving us some postcards and presents, and even working with us for a quick stop to get some Baklava from his favorite place. What an amazing day, and what made it special was Christos and his passion and friendship. I would definitely recommend Christos and Greek Taxi anytime you are in Athens.

Nikolaos was the best guide we had. He is the very BEST. Knows her stuff, explains it easily, took us where ever we wanted to go. By far our better days during our 10 days all over. I thank him.

We had a fantastic day trip to follow the steps of the Apostle Paul. Nikolaus was a phenomenal guide and he gave us on of the best experiences. I highly recommend him for your trips. Our Driver was amazing! He was friendly, courteous, well informed, kind hearted man. He picked us up at our hotel, kept us engaged with lots of information on the sites we were going to be visiting throughout the day. Answered all of our questions with enthusiasm. He had water bottles ready for us at all times. Drove safely! Just an incredible tour guide. Sites were extraordinary and overwhelming. We are so glad that we did this tour!

This was an excellent choice for our day. My mom and I were coming off a Celestyal cruise and planning to self-drive most of our time in Greece... however we didn't want to deal with trying to navigate the big city of Athens. So I booked this tour to pick us up at the cruise port and drop us at our rental station at the end of the day. Our driver was very friendly and spoke good English. We were pleasantly surprised to received several very interesting books about the locations we were visiting as part of the tour... and he also played us a number of videos with excellent information which made the drive pass quickly. As clearly noted in Greece Taxi's info the driver is not a guide and cannot accompany you into the archaeological sites -- however, they are very good about showing you exactly where to go and answering any questions, making it very easy to experience everything at your own pace. Our driver also introduced us to a fascinating elderly gentleman in Corinth who has spent more than 40 years hand painting beautiful museum replicas -- pricing was very reasonable... if we'd visited Corinth on our own we would have missed him so this was a highlight of the day. Overall... if you prefer a private independent style of touring, don't hesitate to book with Greece Taxi, it's an excellent choice!

Christos is amazed driver and tour guide. Very knowledgeable and informative. Talks just the right amount—helpful and engaging. Never got tired of our questions!! Super easy and accommodating. Great insights on many different topics. Patient driver and we never felt rushed.
