Simon was most knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and so much information. He guided us so well through the museum and through Acropolis. It is a bit rushed :) but he was so clear on the agenda

We had a really excellent guide and tour! Her name began with an “A” and she is known as “The Wine Maker.”

We did this tour on 10 Jul 2025. It was very well organised. Right from the pickup from the hotel, changing bus for the tour to the dropoff after the tour at the hotel excellently done. Our tour guide was George who was very well informed about the history of the acropolis and could explain everything about it in a very interesting manner. Thank you George. We could understand the statues in the museum and relate them to the Acropolis.

Our guide, Georgia, provided a detailed explanation of all the highlights of the the sites as well as the artifacts in the museum. She was very attentive and took the the time to make sure all of our questions were answered. She was friendly, pleasant and well spoken.

Our guide, Pietro, was extremely knowledgeable, very thorough, pointed out some notable points and historical facts during our visit to the Acropolis and the temples and in the museum. He did all that while keeping us safe, organized and uncovered by all the surrounding tourists and other tourist guides in the same vicinity (there were thousands!). We'd recommend this tour (and Pietro) to any visitors who want to learn more about Greek history and this sacred place.

I had an amazing tour of the Acropolis, Parthenon and the Museum. Alex was our tour guide. He shared his knowledge of the Greek history, answered all our questions and paced the tour to suit everyone in the group. Although it was a very hot day, the tour was organized in a way to spend the most hot hours inside the air conditioned museum then go up the hill the last 2 hours before it closes. The meeting point was easy to reach and I liked that it was also inside the air conditioned location of Athenian Tours. I highly recommend this tour if you want to learn more about the Greek history, monuments and mythology.

You never know when you book a tour what you’re gonna get. But after reading all the reviews, I decided to take a chance. And I am so happy I did. Our tour guide was phenomenal and an actual historian. She was thorough, patient with those who were a little slower to keep up, and really knew her stuff. It was totally worth the money to have this guided tour. It was packed full with information. And although it was a lot to assimilate, it was completely understandable and comprehensive as we were moving along and made sense. And it was nice having the acropolis first and then the museum second where more information was given and you could see how everything connected. I highly recommend.

Even with the high temperatures it didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves on this tour. The history of Acropolis is amazing as well as the museum.

We had the absolute pleasure of touring the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum with Dimitris, and it was an unforgettable experience. His knowledge of Greek history, mythology, and archaeology is outstanding, but what really made the tour special was the way he brought everything to life with passion, clarity, and a great sense of humor. He made ancient history feel vivid and relevant, answering every question with patience and insight. The entire experience was smooth, engaging, and incredibly informative. If you’re visiting Athens, don’t miss the chance to tour with Dimitris it will completely elevate your visit

Reasonable walk from office to entrance. Check in line is long, arrive early as instructed. Knowledgeable guide, but tour was a bit 'academic'. Summer days the site is HOT - bring water (there isn't a place to refill). It is a HIKE up to the summit. Investigate accommodations (using the lifts) ahead of time so that you can make it all the way through.
