Cape Sounio & Temple Of Poseidon Breathtaking Views Private Trip

The entire route for scenic and the Temple of Poseidon was one of the most well-preserved monuments we've seen by far. Our guide Mr George was knowledgeable, patient and excellent in his service and delivery of information. One of the best guides we've come across in our tours in Europe these couple of years. Strongly recommend to take him up.

We had an excellent half day tour with George down to Cape Sounion. He was very knowledgeable and struck up excellent conversation. We learned a lot about Greece and Athens. George also recommended a restaurant where everything was delicious. Views at multiple stops were phenomenal. Would highly recommend - especially if this is your first time in Athens!

It is around an hour drive from Athens to Poseidon temple with amazing Athens coast line view. We joined sunset tour and the guide is well-calculated the time to bring us to the destination in a right time, and we were able to see a full sunset in Poseidon. The driver - George is really kind and knowledgeable. He stopped for 2-3 viewpoints for us to take photo(amazing view) and did not push our time when we arrived Poseidon. After the visit, he recommended us a local and delicious restaurant😋 The overall experience of this trip is perfect and worth it!

We had an amazing trip from Athens City Center to Cape Sounion. The views from the temple were amazing and the sunset was so beautiful. Our driver was extremely personable and very knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend this tour!

1.5 hour drive each way to Cape Sounion from central Athens. Arrived in time for a wonderful sunset with plenty of photos of the temple. Stopped on the way back for brief dinner (price not included). Harry our driver kept us engaged in conversation most of the way. A memorable experience.

We enjoyed the private car experience. The driver, Harry, was very knowledgeable about the history of Athens as well as the various stops along the way to take photos. We enjoyed Poseidon's temple, especially at sunset. Harry was very courteous and polite. We highly recommend this tour.

We were very pleased with the experience we had on this tour. Theo was a fantastic driver and guide. He got us to the Temple with perfect timing to look around a bit before sunset. We were able to stop for coffee and a few photo opts on the way there. He was very engaging with conversation telling us about Athens and the different locations we were driving through. We were able to stop for dinner on the way back to town. He gave us a few options to choose from. The dishes that he recommended were fantastic. The drive was very smooth and pleasant. This was a very relaxing time. I would recommend this over taking a group bus tour. We enjoyed our time very much, definitely worth the price.

Nathan is very knowledgeable and delightful. He drove us to Sounion in a comfortable and newer car model while telling us about the towns we're passing through. We stopped to see a 1300 years old olive tree which was amazing. We got to Poseidon Temple with plenty of time to take pictures and to fit a good spot to watch the sunset. His dinner suggestions was excellent. We had an amazing experience and it was worth the cost. Nathan is a capable and delightful young man. We wish him the best!

It was an incredible experience to have Melina as a tour guide and driver! Her English was very good and it made the tour fun as she was both very educational and also conversant about Greek life and culture. We went to Lake Vouliagmeni followed by the Temple of Poseidon followed by an awesome seaside dinner with delicious fish. I could not recommend enough having her as a tour guide as she was very communicative. Working with the company Crispy local was great too as they were responsive via email and shared my tour guide’s contact info in advance so we could communicate via WhatsApp. I would definitely do more tours with Melina and this company the next time I’m back in Greece. Pricing also very good compared to competitors.
