Small-Group Wine Tour in Athens with Tasting

George was a super fun guide and my friends and I had an amazing time! The wine pours are definitely just samples (3-4 sips as opposed to 4-5 oz) and not full glasses of wine but I still feel like this tour was worth it.

Chris did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and personable throughout the entire tour. We would highly recommend Chris for anyone’s Athens wine tour.

Our guide, Elena, was a pure delight. My husband and I were lucky enough to have a private tour with her. She was articulate, informative and funny. In addition to tasting and learning about wine and the local Greek cheese, she shared information about Greek culture. The tastings were held at three different wine bars and the gentlemen who led the wine tastings were very informative. I highly recommend this tour.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Lots of fun stories to share. He gave good recommendations for the rest of our stay as well.

We were so shocked when we got to the start, and it was just us two and our guide, Vagelis! They provided a bottle of water and ponchos for the tour. We had an amazing time wine tasting and getting to know Vagelis. Definitely recommend!!

This wine tour was excellent!!! Our guide was personable and friendly. She had local knowledge and explained the different neighborhoods we ambled through. Our first stop was with Constantinos a level 3 advanced sommelier. He answered all our questions and explained how to taste wines. We made 3 stops and the wines were delicious. This tour is a great way to get a feel for Athens and drink delicious wines. It’s a win win!

Most memorable moments (apart from the consumption of the wine samples) was the conversation with our guide which provided a fascinating insight into their life and the city. There was also food aplenty! Probably because there were only the two of us and so the three sharing platters - one at each of the tasting venues - filled us up completely with cheese, meats and crackers. It was a great afternoon/evening :)

Had a excellent time going across Athens trying different rosés, whites, and reds at various wine bars. Also had great cheeses, meats, and paired foods. George and our various sommeliers and guides were all great.
